Posting here for traffic because I'm shameless

Just wondering what unusual/disgusting food combinations people like? Either day to day, or to cure a hangover. I had a friend who liked sugar sandwiches (bread, butter and sugar Envy )

I'll start with mine, which is Mega Noodles from Farm Foods (I'm that specific) mixed in with baked beans and mayo. Go...

WhatKatyDidNotDo · 13/11/2017 16:00

A childhood friend used to have mashed potato sandwiches

PavlovianLunge · 13/11/2017 16:06

Graphista, I bloody love clafoutis, but have never made the connection. Mind. Blown. Blush

Bluetrews25 · 13/11/2017 16:07

My DSis used to eat 'mucus'

= Muesli with custard on it.
The reality being far less vomit-inducing than the name she gave it would imply.

Collectorofcookbooks · 13/11/2017 16:08

Just coming on to say yorkshire pudding with golden syrup... too too good!

KinkyAfro · 13/11/2017 16:08

KinkyAfro · 13/11/2017 16:09

PinkHeart5914 · 13/11/2017 16:10

Can't believe I've never thought of Yorkshire pudding with jam. What's wrong with me? That sounds amazing

Try a Yorkshire pudding with a scoop of very good vanilla ice cream in the middle, you will never look back 😃

oldlaundbooth · 13/11/2017 16:11

Warm fat off duck confit.

Oo la la

Bluetrews25 · 13/11/2017 16:13

Kinkyafro you could try Aldi's salt and vinegar crispy fries instead.
Must try it....

BernardBlacksHangover · 13/11/2017 16:14

I don’t think I like anything particularly weird... not off the top of my head anyway.

But my sister used to eat scrambled eggs mixed with tuna when she was on a low carb diet Envy (so not envious - definitely a sicky face).

Bubblysqueak · 13/11/2017 16:15

Pasta mixed with baked beans and spittle curry powder.

trickofthetail1 · 13/11/2017 16:16

Left over Yorkshire Pudding (or the extra ones made specially) are eaten with golden syrup, not jam.

Anatidae · 13/11/2017 16:17

The local pizza speciality where I live is boiled beef and bearnaise sauce.

Bread, tuna, grapes, bread

PavlovianLunge · 13/11/2017 16:24

...spittle curry powder.

Just a mouthful, presumably? Grin Envy

peachgreen · 13/11/2017 16:25

@KinkyAfro ooooh YES - also McDonalds chips dipped in chocolate milkshake.

mogonfoxnight · 13/11/2017 16:26

Cheese with apricot jam

MusicToMyEars800 · 13/11/2017 16:32

Apricot yoghurt with crunchy peanut butter.

Pasta mixed in with butter so it melts and topped with beef gravy.

Frazzles dipped in dairylea or other cheap cheese spread.

Cold baby potatoes dipped into cold butter, something like Utterly Butterly.

Instant mash, With tuna, mayo mixed in along with butter and cheese.

I love raw mushrooms, I scoop them into garlic and herb cream cheese.. yum, but will now try them with butter.

I have mayo, ketchup and apple sauce with my roast dinners Grin

I know there are more... I'm thinking.

MusicToMyEars800 · 13/11/2017 16:34

Feta cheese drizzled with honey is tasty.

Ttbb · 13/11/2017 16:36

Gets and honey sounds really good.

mogonfoxnight · 13/11/2017 16:38

thelastredwinegum · 13/11/2017 16:39
