Posting here for traffic because I'm shameless

Just wondering what unusual/disgusting food combinations people like? Either day to day, or to cure a hangover. I had a friend who liked sugar sandwiches (bread, butter and sugar Envy )

I'll start with mine, which is Mega Noodles from Farm Foods (I'm that specific) mixed in with baked beans and mayo. Go...

At uni I once made a sandwich out of an English muffin, potato waffle, fishfingers and bacon with sweet chilli sauce. It was delicious.

You might think fish & bacon & sweet chilli sauce doesn't go together, but it does.

Just remembered more of mine. DM and I whilst VV pissticated decided that the most delicious snack ever was Ryvita, spread with English mustard and Marmite. I like all three, but dear God we woke up like shrunken heads!!

I'm currently tucking into cold mushy peas from a can. I eat a spoonful, make a well in the centre, sprinkle in a little salt and papper, then pour in as much vinigar as will fit. Stir and enjoy Grin

And lastly, dc6's "classic" is bacon dipped in nutella for breakfast.

Mushy peas with vinegar sounds good!!

Didntcomeheretofuckspiders · 13/11/2017 16:43

An ex used to love cheese, jam and ham sandwiches. I’m not talking about nice cheese, a fancy chutney and some posh meat... it was standard white bread or a roll, cheap cheddar, bog standard strawberry jam and cheap ham or salami slices.

PeapodBurgundy · 13/11/2017 16:43
  • pepper and vinegar Angry

I used to love microwaving a packet of uncle ben's flavoured rice (Mexican spicy was my favourite) with grated cheese, a handful of walnuts and cashew nuts, and some jalapeños. the cheese went all chewy and it was just divine.

Fucking "prediabetes", it ruins everything!!!

MaMisled · 13/11/2017 16:46

Tinned raviolli on toast with cheese spread triangle on top.

KinkyAfro · 13/11/2017 16:48

Nooooo bluetrews has to be ready salted, salt and vin is just wrong

KinkyAfro · 13/11/2017 16:50

I used to like mcdonalds milkshakes peachgreen but they've got a bit airy and runny now and don't stick

DamsonGin · 13/11/2017 16:54

Prawn flavoured Primula. Just wtf in every sense.

Also (not my choice) a sandwich consisting of tuna mayo, piccalilli and chicken.

DamsonGin · 13/11/2017 16:54

Also a beef spread and cheese & onion crisps sandwich.

MusicToMyEars800 · 13/11/2017 16:55

I love cold macaroni cheese out of the tin and I like cold rice pudding out of the tin, most people I come across find this repulsive.

sourpatchkid · 13/11/2017 16:55

You can buy chipsticks in places like B and M and home bargains

ColourofMagic · 13/11/2017 16:56

Ham and chocolate spread sandwiches - has to be longline bread and those cheap, wafer thin ham slices.......

ColourofMagic · 13/11/2017 16:57

*longlife bread

KittiKat · 13/11/2017 16:57

Some nights after school I used to pop into a friend's house and her mum used to give me a condensed milk sandwich.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 13/11/2017 16:59

Crab paste sandwich. Thick white bread, proper butter and the whole jar of crab paste.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 13/11/2017 16:59

Frazzles and plain primula. So good.

twofloorsup · 13/11/2017 17:03

I love jam and marmite on toast or crumpets or muffins (anything really not that fussy) Grin

SellMySoulForSomeSleep · 13/11/2017 17:05

I used to have leftover Yorkshire puddings with sugar and lemon as a kid.

I crunch eat dried pasta when I'm cooking pasta.

I like dry shreddies as well.

I make cake mix as a sweet treat. Just use milk instead of the egg.

Hippadippadation · 13/11/2017 17:07

Thick toasted white bread, slathered in butter. Topped with mushy peas mashed in ketchup, salt & vinegar. Add more ketchup.

A dip made out of crunchy peanut butter and cottage cheese. Celery to dip in it. Amazing.

MrsE · 13/11/2017 17:09

Peanut butter and marmite on toast

fruit cake and strong cheese

Another one with sugar sandwiches

Hadenoughoftumble · 13/11/2017 17:09

Hot Yorkshire puddings with naice vanilla ice cream is lush.

Chips dipped in creme eggs/eaten with chocolate.

Peanut butter with jam or chocolate spread (or all three!)

Actually peanut butter anything. There are peanut butter crisps called ‘peanut puffs’ and they are AMAZING

Landed · 13/11/2017 17:10

A well known fictional character loves peanut butter and raisins!

Outfoxed · 13/11/2017 17:16

My favourite pizza (in Sweden) is chicken, bacon, curry sauce, peanuts and French fries. The original pizza has banana instead of bacon but even that’s a step too far for me
