To ask about pubic hair removal?

cherrycola2004 · 31/10/2017 16:38

I’m quite new here not sure where to post this so feel free to move the post.

I just wonder if you remove your pink hair how do you do it? Shaving is making me so sore and itchy, hair removal cream doesn’t seem to work too well, Home waxing kit was pointless and pretty much just took my skin off (ouch!)

Is a proper wax the only way?

Any tips or tricks?

Thank Smile

Probably not in the 16th century Grin

Men used to just climb on top their wife, have their way and that would be that. Nowadays men are more interested in pleasuring their partner unlike throughout history and both men and women are more conscious about looking attractive for their partner.

Actually, for a very very long time it was believed that conception could only occur if the woman orgasmed, and female pleasure was therefore a major priority.

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:17

Maybe, but people also didn’t bath everyday back then either. I can only imagine what people smelt like only bathing once or twice a week.

What people put up with then isn’t a reflection what one would tolerate nowadays. Imagine saying to a partner now “I only shower once or twice a week but let’s have sex anyway.” 🤢

Times have changed.

BertrandRussell · 03/11/2017 20:18

Rubbish, Ha. Everyone knows that sex was invented in about 1980. Those Metaphisical poets- wht did they know?

BertrandRussell · 03/11/2017 20:19

Back when, JustCurious?

DrGrey · 03/11/2017 20:25

I had mine lasered off but prior to that Lycon wax was the only way to go as your hair can be millimetres in length so not too much regrowth.

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:25

In history before the invention of running hot water and bathrooms in the home. In the days when people used a tin bath in front of the fire starting from the husband, wife, children then baby. Hence “don’t throw the baby out with the bath water...”

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:29

IMO if someone likes a full bush/hairy ass/area in between that and their partner loves it too then good on them. But there is nothing wrong also with grooming yourself down below like a woman does here hair, make up, eyebrows, armpits and legs.

It’s preference and times have moved on.

Men used to just climb on top their wife, have their way and that would be that.

You are being rather cynical about this - and wrong.
Throughout the ages men have wanted to give pleasure to women for a number of reasons . . .

  1. Vanity! They are the world's best lover - this arrogance has always been part of the male make-up to some degree

  2. Love! Yes - hard to believe, but even years ago (more than fifty, even) men have wanted the woman they loved to enjoy their love-making!

  3. Fertility! Although we now know that the female orgasm has nothing to do with conception, it used to be widely believed that it was necessary -and as until comparatively recently, the purpose or marriage was to produce children, they spent time and energy ensuring that their ladies enjoyed what was happening.

Yes - there were many men who didn't give a damn whether their parters enjoyed sex or not - but there are plenty of them nowadays, too.

Oral sex has been going on for many thousands of years - if men had found the texture and perfume of the unshaven female a turn-off, then trust me - they wouldn't have indulged it. Despite what you seem determined to believe, men did, and do, enjoy sex with unshaven women, and they enjoy performing oral sex on them, too.

The "smell" which many of you fear is disgusting is to many, possibly most, men, highly attractive - it is full of sex pheromones which trigger desire. (That's if people follow normal hygiene procedures, and don't just allow themselves to become filthy - in which case a dirty fanjo would be masked by body odour anyway. Dirty people are dirty and it isn't just below the belt that they smell . . .)

Even 50 years ago you used to see 50 year old women who looked about 70 - grey hair, middle age spread, old fashion dress sense. Women looked like that for centuries at that age.

Some did - poor nutrition, bloody hard work and almost continuous pregnancy does that to women. There were others - generally aristocratic, obviously, who looked fabulous well into their sixties.

Your partner might prefer your bald pudenda. Not all men feel the same - given a choice, there are plenty who like natural foliage in that area. And even more, I suspect, who just accept their woman for what she wants to look like.

Kids! You think you invented sex!

BertrandRussell · 03/11/2017 20:38

Just curious-can we have some dates? When precisely did women start enjoying sex? When precisely did people stop smelling?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 03/11/2017 20:38

I can only imagine what people smelt like only bathing once or twice a week.

Yes dear -but everyone smelled the same, so no one noticed.

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:42

Wasn’t it not until the late 19th century where it became illegal to rape your own wife?

I don’t have a bald fanjo!

I take care of my fanjo for me and if I were single my fanjo would be as it is even if s man wasn’t going to see it because it’s how I like it. If my dp asked me to grow a full bush or to shave it all off I would say no, that’s not how I like it thanks.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 03/11/2017 20:44

I think it’s a positive thing that woman want to take care of themselves and groom in whatever way they please. Men do it too, in fact men are more vain than ever!

Did you even take history at school, curious? For much of history men have primped and preened at least as much, and often more than women - and women have always wanted to look attractive.

It's all part of evolution . . .

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:46

Yes at school we learnt all about men and women trimming their genitals Grin

SmileEachDay · 03/11/2017 20:47

I am actually baffled by this thread.

Utterly baffled.

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:47

This thread is baffling and hilarious Grin

HaHaHmm · 03/11/2017 20:50

Just you’re a century out. Marital rape wasn’t formally criminalised in England and Wales until 1991.

JustCurious11 · 03/11/2017 20:52

Gosh that surprising Shock men could legally rape their wives up until 1991 Shock

motherinferior · 04/11/2017 09:12

Yes, it took a lot of campaigning from SCARY HAIRY FEMINISTS to make it criminalised. Most of us had hair SPROUTING all over our bodies. Oh yes. Feelthy Feelthy Wimmin. Good times.

motherinferior · 04/11/2017 09:18

Oh and I am now a 50something woman with the most fabulous head of silvering hair. It goes with my short skirt and scarlet lipstick.

strugglingtodomybest · 04/11/2017 09:21

What people put up with then isn’t a reflection what one would tolerate nowadays. Imagine saying to a partner now “I only shower once or twice a week but let’s have sex anyway.”

Ha ha! Quite a regular occurrence in my house I'll have you know. Can't beat a bit of sweaty dirty sex Grin

BertrandRussell · 04/11/2017 09:48

"Gosh that surprising shock men could legally rape their wives up until 1991 shock"

You're surprised by this but you are also confidently pronouncing on the sexual practices of people in some undefined period of history called "back then"........?

DixieFlatline · 04/11/2017 09:58

Ha ha! Quite a regular occurrence in my house I'll have you know.

Mine too. JustCurious’ posts are oddly like conversing with my much younger sister.

JustCurious11 · 04/11/2017 10:09

You lot are so funny! Grin You can talk about things that went on for “thousands of years..” apparently yet I can’t do the same, I have to provide dates Grin
