Gibble - where do you get your energy from?
I worked yesterday - I love my job and it is not 'hard' - very pleasant actually
. Had already prepared a meal for the evening so ate that, drank wine and watched 2 hours of TV with DH.
This morning - did the ironing (sounds good but only takes me 10 minutes!), went to Church, did half an hour's volunteering at a project I am involved with (easy to pop in and do 30 mins sorting out) - did some shopping, went for a walk, met a couple of friends for a chat, lots more lazing around, mumsnetting, stuck a roast in the oven, drinking more wine, will probably play a board game or cards after dinner with DH & teenage DS & then an hour's tv - pretty dull really
.
My DH is far more energetic than me, he has sorted out the garage, been to the tip, loads of gardening, been cycling, taxied DS around ........ and does a heavy, manual job.
