He made some terrible comments online in the past. Surely people don't change their character that much over time.

Jared was the easy bit. What JC and the Labour Party do in response to the LabourToo campaign will be the real test

I'm under the impression that many people in Hallam voted tactically in the last GE. NC is flawed but has many positives.

I'm usually in favour of second chances and forgiving people for mindless shit they said/did when they were younger. But he said a lot of stuff that is pretty vile and extreme by most people's standards.

As far as the apology goes...what choice has he got? He's got to say all that hasn't he?

I'm undecided right now, but leaning towards a desire to see him resign.

We can all talk in circles around this issue but the very facts are the Tory party has not only had two women leaders but two women Prime Ministers, and if the party faithful has its way, it will have a third in Ruth Davidson, who is not only a woman, but a lesbian woman.

I don't understand why people find this irrelevant. I can't imagine the hard left EVER wanting a female pm. Perhaps centrist labour may have had Yvette Cooper who I would have liked.
