Teddy Bears Are Dead!

Long live the reign of the bunny!

Or to put it another way, in the nursery class I'm working in 5 children have cuddly bunnies. I can't remember the last time I saw a child with a teddy. We have them around the room as nursery toys, in books, as pictures on toys, walking past outside, etc, but not as a child's main cuddle toy.

If you have a child with a special toy that they carry everywhere, what is it? Any bears about?

(I'm 40 something and have my lion in a box in my bedroom.)

I love this thread.

I didn’t have a teddy Sad but dd (13m) has loads, her favourites are a lion and the Peppa pigs in various sizes that her dgrans bought her. No bunnies yet though, so I think we’re behind the curve. Confused

My little boy has a teddy he’s 3. I spent forever trying to convince him to have every adorable cuddly toy as his fave and then husband went to Budapest for a Stag weekend and bought him back a hideous teddy in an awful beige jumper and he s loved it ever since! Gutted!😂😂
