Cheeky Fucker Neighbours !

Don’t get me wrong I’m a lovely neighbour, if I can help my neighbours out anyway that I can I do. Next door have had some work done on their house, they had a skip on their drive which meant no room for both their dustbins, so whilst the skip was there they put both their big green & black dustbin on my drive ( which was totally fine ) we get on & logically it made sense ( I didn’t expect them to knock & ask if it was ok ) as my drive isn’t being used as I have no car & like I said I’m not unreasonable & logically of course this made sense as there isn’t anywhere else they could have put them except the pavement ( which is clear for me to see ) Work to the house has now finished, the skip has gone, bin men have been & emptied bins today, I put the bins out last night ( which I put theirs out too if they haven’t already done so ( and they do the same for me which is handy ) it’s just a case of who does it first does both bins & this includes bringing in bins back to original place. Like I said absolutely no dramas re this in the past. Well today they have been out & brought both their empty bins & plonked them back on my drive ! My side living room window looks onto my drive & it ain’t pretty looking at 4 huge bins 😡 I usually move my 2 bins further up my drive so that they aren’t visible out of my window but now I can’t do that because theirs are there. They have had extensive work done to their house ( extensions ) so room is tight in their garden but thats not my problem. So basically their house looks all pretty with no big horrible smelly dirty bins in the front garden on their micro drive ( my house is really pretty too) but now I’m left with the view of a line of 4 big smelly dirty bins from my side living room window. I want to go out & manoeuvre the bins around their cars back onto their micro drive but worry that I will look pathetic. Like I said it really wasn’t an issue at all them putting the bins there whilst they had the skip as it was totally a logical thing to do, but I presumed that when they brought the bjns back in from being emptied, that they would put them back in the tiny space on their drive where they always have been! The cheeky fuckers are now thinking it’s totally ok to just try to plonk them on my drive for eternity aren’t they???

@youngaleksa The pens are actually a pack of coloured bics bought from B&M for £1 Handy to have in the house... never know when you will need to do a good CFN diagram eh?

Unfortunately I can not afford to be putting up any fence/ boundaries, they’ve never done this before so they know that it’s not on. If the incident occurs again I will deeply humiliate them by showing them ‘The popular diagram ‘ that I posted online .... One can only imagine the look of horror on their faces when they see it !

thenightsky, a war can exist where only one party knows about it. I'm in a furious battle with a neighbours cat for instance. I stare at it with hate in my eyes, I talk about it in derogatory terms, and I huffily walk past it in the street. The cat is oblivious to this war. I am not.

UnicornSparkles1 · 19/10/2017 22:37

Amazing diagram OP!

WishingOnABar · 19/10/2017 22:38

Cough penguin bollards cough

sunandmoonshine · 19/10/2017 22:41

I can't imagine a world where people think it's OK to leave their wheelie bins on someone else's drive! (Like indefinitely....) Confused

I would have definitely moved them immediately.

prettypetal · 19/10/2017 22:41

@Tamatoa cats can be evil, what is the little bugger up to that’s causing such great distress? Crazy cat lady here 👍🏻

ItsNachoCheese · 19/10/2017 22:44

Never mind the awsome diagram im in sheer awe of the eyebrow markers on the window indicating optimum peeking spot Grin

prettypetal · 19/10/2017 22:48

@londonrach in response to further clarification on the diagram.... basically they’ve extended their house to such extreme that they’ve left little space for anything else. Their car takes up almost all of the bit of concrete ( it’s a very tight squeeze to get their bins there ) and they have about 1m square of grass next to the car... so if the house gets any bigger I guess they will have to put their binstation literally outside their front door... and if that happens like OF COURSE I will do another diagram showing where they have to walk to get out .... helll yeah

Tamatoa

The cat is oblivious to this war. I am not.

That's what you think!

The cat is bideing its time . . . one day, soon, you will learn the dreadful truth.

londonrach · 19/10/2017 22:58

Op...i see...you going to be busy drawing diagrams. You very talented. Sounds like they pretty much have to go on your land

SchadenfreudePersonified · 19/10/2017 22:59

Actually Tomatoa - could we have a diagram of the cat?

MrsMozart · 19/10/2017 23:03

The most excellent of excellent diagrams! Especially loving the eyebrow placement Grin

prettypetal · 19/10/2017 23:05

@Tamatoa ... D-I-A-G-R-A-M D-I-A-G-R-A-M D-I-A-G-R-A-M ( chanting ) showing us where the cat ahem terrorise’s you if it’s on your land lol

I had a bit of panic as I thought you'd drawn my house and I was the CFN. Shock Then I remembered that our neighbours have a garage at the end of their driveway and not a shed. And that I've never put our bins on their driveway.

But having the exact same layout (complete with shorter micro driveway due to previous owner's extension) I can confirm that they are definitely CFN for putting their bins where they have. Angry

bigfatbumfreak · 19/10/2017 23:16

Superb diagram.

Do they have a window forward facing their car?

prettypetal · 19/10/2017 23:26

@bigfatbumfreak yes they have a window That looks out into the 1m square of grass. Apologies I may have to buy A3 size paper in to have it handy for further detail if any further instances occur ConfusedThey haven’t put the bins in front of their window regardless of the super tight squeeze so god knows why they thought it was acceptable to plonk them back in front of my window! Cheeky buggers. Just biding my time now & I will definitely update you all after the next bin visit. For sure I will be back at work then so unfortunately they will be left to put bins back. Hmmm maybe they might leave mine out on the pavement all day in retaliation? I will report back to you all for sure. Paper & pens at the ready!

That diagram has negated my all consuming 24 hour rage at school phoning me to take in ds clarinet (usually he has a lesson at 2.30 but school was out at 12.15 yest), they called me at 11.20 when I was at school picking up dd from nursery & asked me to bring it in, explaining I was already at school but could pop home & get it if there was any point, they said yes please. Rushed home for bastard clarinet & back to school Office in 10 minutes.

45mins later ds gets out of school & said 'I went into the lesson & teacher said 'nah it's too late now'.

Grrrrr, by typing out that pointless story the rage has returned-I am also off work sick at the mo Op with a very low tolerance level.

My neighbours are never cheeky, the boring feckers.

Need more diagrams to lower anger levels & get to sleep please......

buckeejit · 19/10/2017 23:30

Also-do you look into brick wall of their house or is there a window? Just idly wondering if you could add a trellis to their wall & increase the pretty flowers.

prettypetal · 19/10/2017 23:43

@buckeejit sorry to hear about your clarinet rage. Bloody teacher presuming you have time for her just to waste ?! Sounds like she could do with some diagrams in her life to prevent her from being time-spiteful in the future!

Oh I’m pleased that you found my artwork therapeutic. I too am off work sick atm.

If anything else happens in the time I am off of course I will provide more therapeutic diagrams for you all 💕

However i don’t want to over indulge you all with my skills, as too much of a good thing turns boring, but please be assured that if I ever have the need to post any more posts for sure I will provide more diagrams for visual & theraputic purposes seeing as though it has been so popular.

Hope you feel better soon Flowers

I know I am probably thick, but where do you think they should be putting their bins? And what do all the red crosses denote? @prettypetal

prettypetal · 20/10/2017 00:01

@sunandmoonshine no worries happy to answer queries : ) All of The squares with crosses in are bins, theirs are the red squares with red crosses, and the black squares are my bins. they have always kept their bins behind their car on their micro drive, the red bins opposite my window View is where they obviously wanted to put put their bins forever. I don’t care where they keep their bins, in the future if they have any more work done requiring skip on micro drive it’s perfectly fine for them to put them on my drive But only until the skip they need has gone.

OP posts:
sunandmoonshine · 20/10/2017 00:09

Oh thanks. Smile I would just keep putting them back then. Or as someone said, put a couple of big palms or something there.

cherrytree63 · 20/10/2017 00:10

Pretty I love your polystyrene trap idea. In fact I've written in my bujo under the heading "Things to do if I ever get CFNs that put dustbins on my drive".
Also in my list are strategically placed mousetraps, a police issue stinger, an elephant trap (ok that may be a bit tricky to create) and the magnetic thingy system that's supposed to stop people stealing supermarket trollies.
Sadly my neighbours are definitely NCFNs, but when I was putting their bin back the other day the wheel fell off and I'm worried they think I broke it on purpose.

justilou1 · 20/10/2017 00:35

I was rather hoping for a photo of the window with eyebrows.....
