Cheeky Fucker Neighbours !

Don’t get me wrong I’m a lovely neighbour, if I can help my neighbours out anyway that I can I do. Next door have had some work done on their house, they had a skip on their drive which meant no room for both their dustbins, so whilst the skip was there they put both their big green & black dustbin on my drive ( which was totally fine ) we get on & logically it made sense ( I didn’t expect them to knock & ask if it was ok ) as my drive isn’t being used as I have no car & like I said I’m not unreasonable & logically of course this made sense as there isn’t anywhere else they could have put them except the pavement ( which is clear for me to see ) Work to the house has now finished, the skip has gone, bin men have been & emptied bins today, I put the bins out last night ( which I put theirs out too if they haven’t already done so ( and they do the same for me which is handy ) it’s just a case of who does it first does both bins & this includes bringing in bins back to original place. Like I said absolutely no dramas re this in the past. Well today they have been out & brought both their empty bins & plonked them back on my drive ! My side living room window looks onto my drive & it ain’t pretty looking at 4 huge bins 😡 I usually move my 2 bins further up my drive so that they aren’t visible out of my window but now I can’t do that because theirs are there. They have had extensive work done to their house ( extensions ) so room is tight in their garden but thats not my problem. So basically their house looks all pretty with no big horrible smelly dirty bins in the front garden on their micro drive ( my house is really pretty too) but now I’m left with the view of a line of 4 big smelly dirty bins from my side living room window. I want to go out & manoeuvre the bins around their cars back onto their micro drive but worry that I will look pathetic. Like I said it really wasn’t an issue at all them putting the bins there whilst they had the skip as it was totally a logical thing to do, but I presumed that when they brought the bjns back in from being emptied, that they would put them back in the tiny space on their drive where they always have been! The cheeky fuckers are now thinking it’s totally ok to just try to plonk them on my drive for eternity aren’t they???

Your diagram is better, and prettier, than the six or eight car one but yours was freehand, theirs was computer generated iirc.

tiredvommachine · 28/07/2018 11:16

Did you have to speak to them about it? Awesome diagram anyway, OP Grin

liquidrevolution · 28/07/2018 11:17

The CFs. They are clearly playing a long game..

GabriellaMontez · 28/07/2018 11:23

Is this the first time since last year?
Have you moved it yet?

AlpacaLypse · 28/07/2018 11:55

@daisyboooo are you OP under a name change?

Ginkypig · 28/07/2018 11:55

If you are the original op then woohoo a zombie thread that really isn't one! Brilliant!

ToadOfSadness · 28/07/2018 12:28

Royten Vasey has toad worshippers?
Am off to pack and move.

daisyboooo · 28/07/2018 12:35

Hi 👋🏻 I'm back .... sorry name change yes.

I thought you would all like to be updated on recent evens you see.... do you all need another diagram?

daisyboooo · 28/07/2018 12:38

@GabriellaMontez .... no I haven't moved & this is the first time it's happened again since I last posted. I may try to turn this into a profitable situation for me & ask them if they want to rent the land ?

NynaeveSedai · 28/07/2018 12:47

You put your bins on their drive and not their bins?

Fairenuff · 28/07/2018 12:55

You have to ask them why they've done this. It's so simple. Move the bins back, knock on their door and say "I've returned your bins that were on my drive. Why were they there anyway?"

They are probably getting ready for more work on/in the house and freeing up space on their drive but just tell them they can't do that.

Discretion · 28/07/2018 12:56

Pleeeeeease diagramming queen 👑

quizqueen · 28/07/2018 13:16

Whether I got on with my neighbours or not, I wouldn't entertain having their bins on my property ever. Skip or no skip, it is their problem where they put their bins. What is wrong with communication? Just say you were happy to help out while they had building works but they need to keep their bins on their own side now the skip has gone.

PositivelyPERF · 28/07/2018 13:19

I think you should move their bins and YOUR bins onto THEIR drive, just to confuse the CFs. 😁 Welcome back, OP.

Magicstar1 · 28/07/2018 13:31

So they did it once last year, and now once again Hmm. Hardly the crime of the century. Just move them back.

MaddieElla · 28/07/2018 13:31

They did it out of the blue after nearly a year?

We need you to immediately go and ask them why...

OctaviaOctober · 28/07/2018 14:03

After nine months? That's random!

ProudThrilledHappy · 28/07/2018 14:09

Ooh bingate is back!

PositivelyPERF · 28/07/2018 14:56

Where did you go, OP? Is anyone else concerned that OP may be currently trying to get the evidence neighbours into the bins.

Bubblesblue · 28/07/2018 15:02

daisyboooo your pic makes me think I know you but it's hard to tell for sure (great pic either way! Grin )

WineAndTiramisu · 28/07/2018 15:09

Either -

Put both yours and their bins on their drive
Put their bins right outside their front door, bonus points if they can't get out Grin
