pain Well he’s already done the first of his usual distraction techniques (What about Hilary!). So up next will probably be a swipe at the MSM, then some provocation of NK, then a poke towards Iran.

I don’t think any of those would work with the non-base at this point. Attacks against media are now standard fare and I’m not sure what else he can throw at Iran.

Cross posted there cozie. It all becomes a bit inconsequential at that point I think. I know we talk about the aftermath but that’s politically, in the main (although not without huge consequences). Dealing with the fallout of a nuclear war is a whole different issue.

Well his last attempt of getting rid of meddlesome priests is what got Robert Mueller appointed as special prosecutor so let’s hope that it has similar positive consequences if so (though I fear not)

I think Scrotus' twitter storm is the equivalent of 'throwing everything at the wall hoping something sticks'. He really doesn't know what's coming down the pike (which must be driving him crazy in and of itself) so he's just lobbing everything he can think of as 'preemptive strikes'.

I still say overkill, I'm convinced we're going to be 'underwhelmed' by these indictments. It's just a first little sortie, not a major battle in what promises to be a very long war.
