To ban the inlaws from coming anywhere near the hospital...

While my DS has his central line fitted for his chemotherapy to start?

My inlaws are the worst variety, always questioning my parenting of DS, undermining DH and I and generally making the whole situation about them, bear with me, this could get quite long...

Morning All, it's the first day of Chemo and DS is feeling quite positive (with the help of the go Jetters of course!)

Things have calmed down over the weekend and will hopefully stay that way. It seems that losing my shit gets the occasional desired effect Grin

Sending you and your son all best wishes. Now just concentrate on him and keeping yourself sane. Nothing else matters. X

Yes absolutely ban them!!!!

How old is your DS? Is it a Hickman like or a PICC line? I had a picc line and it was honestly fine having it fitted, didn’t feel a thing x

Narnia72 · 23/10/2017 10:20

Good luck to all of you and especially your DS OP.

Well done on losing the shit.

If possible, this would be a good time to start the process of going no contact.

GinIsIn · 23/10/2017 17:00

Sending you all the Gin and Cake and Flowers out there. You are being so strong.

w12newmum · 23/10/2017 18:01

Dirty nappies I change ASAP, wet I change approximately every 3 hours for hygiene but if it's a disposable and out and about it could be longer. They are very absorbent (last all night) so I don't see the need to change more often plus my LO isn't a very heavy wetter.

w12newmum · 23/10/2017 18:02

So sorry - managed to post on completely wrong thread

endofmytetherhelp · 25/10/2017 13:05
