They've just put out a new mum video, showing lots of successful instagrammers and their children head to toe in Boden.

However, these IG people and children are rarely dressed in Boden, if ever.

But just because they've got a lot of followers Boden hand it all out to people who don't actually treasure the brand.

There are 100s of dedicated Boden mums who treasure every piece of Boden, why can't Boden ever reward their loyal customers rather than give it out to people who don't even buy it.

I know a lot of people are outraged about this. When I look at IG I search the #bodenbyme and always see lots of normal families without 300k followers dressing their littlies in Boden. It's a shame that brand lovers never are appreciated when they are what keep the business going, if I was Johnnie I'd be getting hold of these families and working together to promote real Boden loving Mums and not just people who are in it for the cash or freebies.

Sorry, no, but not all kids are attractive enough to be models for a major clothing brand. And the parents most definitely are not. They want photogenic people modelling their clothes. As do all other clothing brands.

By the way, if you're not a Mum yet but you're doing £850 of baby wear orders you might want to pause and realise that a) all of those clothes will be vomited or shat upon and b) babies should only wear rompers for the first few months because everything else is a fucking nightmare to get on and off. DH almost garrotted DS2 trying to put Boden dungarees on him as a newborn.

What does that even mean? If they use some random mum who nobody knows, how the hell will that help them to sell their clothes? Whereas if they use models or instamums, they know the clothes will be exposed to their hundreds and thousands of (loser) followers.

I singlehandedly keep Cadburys in business with my Double Decker consumption. Not once have I had a free one (except when we went to Cadbury World, which wasn't actually free because they charged us to get in. Did get a couple of Curly Wurlys too, though, so worth a trip).
