To think Boden have made a huge mistake.

They've just put out a new mum video, showing lots of successful instagrammers and their children head to toe in Boden.

However, these IG people and children are rarely dressed in Boden, if ever.

But just because they've got a lot of followers Boden hand it all out to people who don't actually treasure the brand.

There are 100s of dedicated Boden mums who treasure every piece of Boden, why can't Boden ever reward their loyal customers rather than give it out to people who don't even buy it.

I know a lot of people are outraged about this. When I look at IG I search the #bodenbyme and always see lots of normal families without 300k followers dressing their littlies in Boden. It's a shame that brand lovers never are appreciated when they are what keep the business going, if I was Johnnie I'd be getting hold of these families and working together to promote real Boden loving Mums and not just people who are in it for the cash or freebies.

Not the ones who just get gifted it for photos!

My DD loves Boden pants because they are the only ones that don't give her a wedgie apparently. They are officially known as the "good pants" and there is a shocking scene if they are all in the wash. I have to stock up periodically in the sale because Johnnie has them made by fairies from trice-spun mermaid hair and has to price accordingly.

I mean this in a good way, I really do: Looking at all these instamums, I wonder if bode are trying to lose their image as the brand which means: "No. I will not share you round the back, by the bins, after 2 Lambrinis"?

Some of the instamums fit the brand.

Others don't and it's not good.

Yeah, Louise definitely does. She seems to take more time on what she posts (one youtube video a week, not instagramming daily) and it's better quality as a result. Anna Saccone is involved in pumping out daily vlogs, three videos a week, instagramming and snapchatting often because her audience is actually teens, and the quality ratchets down.

My husband actually feels as passionate about this as I do.

He didn't say 'yes dear' he actually said that it's terrible and a disservice to loyal customers.

Can someone explain to me rationally, what is the big deal about Boden? Why do some posters think it is important to wear their 'togs' and some people snear at those who do? I've clearly missed something.....

They should send me a free crate and use me in their next ad campaign.
