Any recommendations on what to get?

A wide berth until the queues have abated?

TheNewMrs · 23/09/2017 08:01

Oh I love HB!
Usually get my toiletries from there, and tinned foods. Also love their kitchenware Smile my DSD likes the toys they get in, and all the craft items.
Enjoy your browse!

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 23/09/2017 08:03

I think it's good for things like dishwasher tablets.

The main stuff we get there:

Tissues
Loo roll (Nicky)
Kitchen roll (Nicky)
Cleaning wipes
Food bags with the seal thing.
Tin foil. - though this has recently gone rubbish.
Wrapping paper

Nanasueathome · 23/09/2017 08:07

Anything from the Stardrops range

burntoutmum · 23/09/2017 08:07

I go to our local one probably once a month to stock up on toiletries, bin bags and cleaning stuff

They're also good for birthday cards ( school parties!) and party bag sweets etc

Sparklingbrook · 23/09/2017 08:15

You may as well have your salary paid direct to them now. Grin

I just like mooching about in there. Ours has a freezer section too.

Big excitement in my one horse town this week The Works opened. Grin

Temporaryanonymity · 23/09/2017 08:15

I am similarly excited about the vast Trago Mills opening near me.

Sparklingbrook · 23/09/2017 08:17

Giant yellow bottles of shampoo and conditioner

Gatekeeper · 23/09/2017 08:27

Dylan black machine dye @£2.99. Great for perking up black jeans etc, Star drops range, coffee pods

speakout · 23/09/2017 08:30

gatekeeper- I don't know they did Dylon,. thanks for that. I often do a black dye for jeans and T shirts that are fading, makes them look as good as new again.

Anything! Love B&M. Great for cleaning products, different chocolate bars or biscuits for lunch boxes, home stuff like towels, candles, photo frames. I just like to wander and pick up whatever takes my fancy.

CockacidalManiac · 23/09/2017 08:32

Loperamide for sixty pence a box (IBS).
Old fashioned sweets that are difficult to get elsewhere.
There’s always something new and interesting in HB.

metalmum15 · 23/09/2017 08:33

Not B&M, Home Bargains! Duh! I love them both for mooching!

I find B&M a bit depressing.
