She booked a taxi to my address ...cheeky?

So this morning I'm sat having a cuppa when a uber taxi pulls up at my door.
He starts beeping his horn,I ignore it and 2 minutes later I go out and a woman walks around the corner.
I ask her was this taxi for her..she said yes sorry uber app couldn't find my address so I used your house number.
I was taken aback and told her that she shouldn't of done that and not to do it again...
Was she cheeky?

It was on a road but pulled in to my drive way if that makes sense.
Taxis normally do as the road is a busy road so they would obstruct otherwise.

Its uber, they know which account ordered it. Pick up address is not responsible for unknown people in taxis

I've done that many time if I'm somewhere I'm not familiar with, or if I'm on a busy road high road but get an uber to pick me on a quiet side road so he can stop carefully. Not that strange to be honest.

If uber wasn't picking her address up I don't know what stopped her calling a normal taxi

It feels like you're looking for something to be annoyed about? Do you know them and not get on? Someone who I don't like could say they liked pasta or something else harmless and it would get my back up 😂

I can see it would be annoying if you couldn't access your drive but as a one-off? I would take a chill pill. She could have been your new best friend. :)
