Flat Earthers.. Craziest beliefs!

Just been scrolling through FB and come across a post where there are genuine people with genuine beliefs that the Earth is flat.

I honestly believed it was just a joke and that people were taking the piss. Apparently not!

AIBU to ask what the craziest beliefs you've come across in British modern society?

My friend's mum is a crazy flat earther and she once demanded that all globes be removed from her daughter's large secondary school, as 'they don't fit with some people's belief systems'

@LadyBishop smoking copious amounts of anything is going to be carcinogenic but the oil when used in treatment is proving positive.

Apparently every time you see a white feather it is left by an angel and is a sign. Of what I have no idea.

It's a sign that there's a dead pigeon not far away.

I have a cat who is a bit of a hunter, my next door neighbour has 5 cats, another neighbour feeds all the local cats so often has a few waiting outside his door.

Strangely we seem to get quite a few white feathers around here, and the odd pigeon carcass.

Wota the people who harp on about it tend to be people who smoke it who believe in itd healing powers but havent actual got anything to cure. Maybe they believe it is preventative too.
