College and Pubic Hair

My DSister (16) has just started a beauty therapy course in college.

Yesterday she was told by a tutor that everyone is to grow their pubic hair (vagina) so they can practice waxing on each other and develop and understanding of how clients feel.

My DS and most of the other girls are horrified by this and don't want to do it. AIBU to be horrified at this demand? Surely the college can't enforce this on the girls?!

Btw they usually don't jump straight into bikini waxing on week one. They start with manicure pedicure then facials then waxing and even then they start with leg waxing and build up to Nikon waxing. It is usually the last thing they do in waxing training. Your sister will have known her classmates at least a few months by then and they'll all have been out together and got pissed and seen all sorts of parts of each other by then.

I've just finished the same course and you do have to grow all your body hair so you can practice on each other, partly sonyoi know what the treatment feels like but mostly because you have to practice on each their before you're allowed to wax clients.

If your DSis is too embarrassed to have a hollywood wax done on herself then why does she want to become a waxer?

Also you only have to do a basic bikini wax you can go further if you like bit to pass the first year it's just the top and sides and you leave knickers on.
