I don't remember the waterbed, but I do an hilarious storyline where Norris and Rita get invited to Honor Blackman's swinging party.

What I don't understand is... Pat Phelan bought a development site. He then managed to get planning permission to build a number of flats there. Rather than build the flats and sell them at a profit, he and his partner in crime took deposits on the flats off plan and pocketed the cash. So who now owns the site? Which still presumably has planning permission and an inbuilt profit for the flats? Why not just complete the build??? Drives me mad..

If Pat let Andy go, then what proof had Andy got that Pat had been holding him hostage???

I don't think Pat will let him go. I think Andy will try and escape, Pat will catch him and there'll be a struggle. Andy will get a lucky dig in and Pat will get killed. Eileen/Nicola will walk in and discover Andy standing over the body or else trying to bury him in the hole Pat dug for Andy. They won't believe Andy's story and Andy will be arrested for murder and spend months trying to convince the police of his story.

Well, I suppose both Pat's and Andy's DNA is in the cellar, but whether the Weatherfield police can manage to work that out is a debatable point.

Andy could have planted his own DNA in that cellar and then Pat could say he's making it up because of his grude with Michael

Sorry but the funniest thing about tonight's episode was that Phelan thought he could take a passport photo of Andy on a digital camera. Has he ever tried doing a check and send passport application?! I guarantee it'll get rejected due to too much facial hair obscuring his face or something.

I think he was someone Michelle new from school and then she was planning his wedding which then didn't happen for some reason. Can't remember if they ever were an item.

Michelle almost slept with him when Steve was abroad, but she called it off just when things were getting steamy. He's the one who spiked her drink and locked her in the car boot.
