I like checking out Eileen's wardrobe. She seems to shop at LTS like me and we have some identical shirts. I also use to have the same jumper that Deirdre wore in the famous Deirdre/Ken/Mike confrontation scene, I'm probably the only person in the country who remembers that scene for the C&A jumper.

I would love it if they aired old episodes from the glory days, with Hilda Ogden, Ena Sharples, Elsie Tanner etc

The writing in those days was far more poignant and realistic today. I think the scriptwriters these days have it spot on with the humour, they have the balance just right.

I still miss Blanche though.

I clicked on this thread in some surprise as I have an acquaintance of this name and wondered what he was up to. Having read the thread I now want to start watching Corrie again. I wish they'd repeat some of the older episodes.

I also find myself warming to Pat despite Andy in the cellar, and I hate myself for it.
