Is the most irritating woman in the known universe and that she would be advised to move away from a kitchen with sharp knives and walk in freezers because the temptation might be too much for some people?

Lesley is actually lovely, very friendly and down to earth-if a bit overdramatic. ( and yes, I have met her several times!)

Does the Australian one keep calling Ulrika, Eureka or is it my ears?

She's a really irritating women , and another tedious professional northerner.Ulrika looks very strange,- old yet pumped up with cheek fillers at the same time..

I found it all a bit cringey and did anyone else notice that John Torode has a bit of a crush on Ulrike?

I didn't think John did, no, but I thought gregg was a bit star struck. Probably an earlier crush.

Lesley would be ok if she didn't keep bursting into song. You just know it's coming, it's like " ok, we know you're a singer, get over it now". Sigh,

I never liked Ulrika in her heyday but now she seems a shadow of her former self

TBH I prefer Lesley because at least she's chirpy, smiley and fun. Ulrika walks around like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. A perpetual frown, shoulders slumped, scowling and even if they praise her food she can barely manage a smile.

I feel sorry for her because she's obviously unhappy and I wonder why she is doing this show.

Have to say I don't think she should have got through the raw lamb episode... it was literally raw.

I wouldn't mind if what comes her mouth is pleasing to the ears but it sounds like a bag of mating cats being drowned in a vat of broth with mascarpone cheese in it.

I wouldn't be able to trust myself in a hot kitchen with knives and boiling liquids with her around, terrible things may happen

As soon as I knew she was in it I wasn't happy. Me and DH were betting as to how long before she started on that warbling. We all know she is a singer so no need to keep doing it.

I was actually surprised when she said she was nearly 50 as I think she looks slightly older than that. She certainly looks weird with all the work done to her face although the judges seem to fancy her

Years ago I worked at an OAP home and there was a hilariously blunt lady in her late 80s. She had an irrational hatred of Lesley Garrett.

So whenever I see Lesley on TV, all I can hear is her Irish brogue shouting "I can't STAND this woman. She's a bloody show off!" 😂

Have to say, watching Lesley on MC this week, I now fully agree with her!

Ulrika should look fantastic if she's had work done and not her age but she is cheating nature really.

To be fair, Moran was apparently also in the last two Harry Potters. Not that I have any recollection of him whatsoever.

Until today, I was entirely neutral about Lesley Garrett. Then I watched the two MC episodes back to back. Bad move. I don't envy the contestants who have to go into the later rounds against her, it must be incredibly difficult to keep your hands away from the knives.

Given what Victoria Wood did with Jane MacDonald, I wish I could have seen her take on LG.

Ulrika does look her age (nothing wrong with that) and seems very down.

I stopped watching because of Lesley Garrett. And I don't know about her being "nice"... she doesn't seem aware that anybody but her exists. I had to laugh at the pp who said she doesn't seem arrogant!

I've known Lesley for a loooong time - she is as mad as a box of frogs.She is friendly, funny and beyond generous.Her singing all the time is just what she does...all the time 😊 She cant help being from Up North and at least she hasnt lost her accent - unlike that fecking Lulu

Nick Moran was good as Scabior in the last Harry Potter films. His role was much bigger than in the book. Masterchef has really put me off him though.

Ulrika always seems to be playing the part of 'needy waif'.

I couldn't help but quite like Lesley Garrett, she seemed fairly genuine and I think her zest for life is quite nice.
