Is the most irritating woman in the known universe and that she would be advised to move away from a kitchen with sharp knives and walk in freezers because the temptation might be too much for some people?

How can you tell she is genuinely nice? She's clearly acting a role out. As a lot of celebs do. Never trust a professional actor!!!

She's actually trending on Twitter and all the posts are "am I the only one who finds her intensely annoying?"

Answer - no it's virtually universal. Feel a bit sorry for her. She is really irritating.

Well yes it was pretty bloody obvious! But you need acting skills for that and opera singers are known for having a 'public' face!!

I don't mind Lesley. It is the pretentious Nick Mo-RAN that gives me the quakes!! Back here in NI where the name originated we say MO-ran...but this dickhead obviously felt he was too posh for the whole Irish schtick...

I also thought the whole 'I want to be a chef rather than a cook' craptastic spiel at the start had more than a touch of misogyny about it!!😡😡 So yes, hope he loses!

My DD and i were just cringing. And then 'shut uppp!!!'

I couldn't stand her before this - because she never shuts her mouth - she's always talking or singing (or catching flies as we say in our house)
But I've warmed to her a bit more on this - despite the warbling (shut up Lesley FFS we know you are an opera-shrieker), her cooking looks quite pleasant, sensible and edible.

The same can't be said for Mr 'pretentious moi' Moran - what a twat. He should be made to eat a whole trough of pickled bladder wrack.

Imagine being stuck in a lift with her, and Jane McDonald. Both are so irritating and would probably have a 'voice off.'

Ugh this reminds me of AGES ago when I got stuck in the lift in a department store for about 15 minutes with the Beverley Sisters who proceeded to give an impromptu concert, singing all their latest songs. I didn't like them before but even less after

I don't know what it is about Lesley Garrett but I have to switch channels if she is on for even five seconds. I think she's so up herself that I can't understand why the top of her head hasn't blown off. I've no idea who the two blokes are and yes, Ulrika is looking older but I still think she is attractive.

My (sort of) claim to fame is that my son, aged 8, was in a season of panto with Barney. They had to 'fly' above a London skyline, on wires, singing Flying without wings... or I believe I can fly... something to do with flying anyway.

As for saying Ulrika looks old, she is nearly 50. I think she looks fantastic!

Sarah Greene is 58! I think she looks great. There were some awful comments about her on twitter and now some on here too. Are we not allowed to age? Honestly, women are their own worst enemy!

I haven't said anything like that. I haven't said anything negative about either woman.

Ulrika AND Sarah are attractive and look ok, but neither of them look any younger than their age. Almost everyone looks their age. It's not a bad or negative thing to look your age, and it's not an insult to say someone does. I'm not sure why people think it is.

A while back, a woman I met in a shop where DH was getting a new battery in his watch, asked me to guess how old she was. I thought forty-five to forty-eight, but to be polite, I said early to mid 40's. She looked really miffed, as she stated she was 41.

So I actually said she looked the age she was! Seems she was expecting me to say 30 or something! No. She was in her 40's and she looked it.

As I said, I can't understand why people thinking someone looks their age is so insulting. Almost everyone looks their age.

NC so I could post this copy & paste of my FB status the other night;
I've only had it on five minutes, just noticed it was Lesley "I'm a singer y'know" Garrett (I cannae stick her) and remarked to [DH Name] that she hadn't started singing yet. About ten seconds after I said that she bloody started singing to the food.

I didn't watch it tonight, in fact I didn't know until the other night that she was on it, but oh how she proved me correct.

Susanna and bloody hell, she can fill an opera house with that voice. I'd find it irritating in the kitchen though.
