AIBU to think me neighbour is pathetic

DS's have been in the garden a lot enjoying the nice weather we've had the last few days. They've had stuff in the garden to okay with, this includes a small swimming pool, baby/toddler trampoline, loads of outdoor small toys and a few footballs.

All 'small items' e.g the footballs and small toys, are put into the boys toy box in the shed along with the trampoline when they've finished playing (usually after tea time). I've left the pool out each night because it won't fit in the shed and obviously I'm not leaving it in my living room all night?!

Neighbour sent her boyfriend round this morning to tell me to move my swimming pool as she doesn't like the sight of it. The gardens aren't connected (we have a shared bin alley between the gardens) the fences are the high ones, and how on earth is this effect her so much?!?! AIBU? Is she a fucking loon?

LuLuuuuuuu · 27/08/2017 15:15

Hahaa

Loon neighbour of the year award goes too Op's Neighbour

Batshit . Ignore them OP

MehMehAndMeh · 27/08/2017 15:15

I hope you told him no.
Don't give them an inch or the unreasonable demands will get more bizarre.

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 27/08/2017 15:17

Arrange all the toys to spell out fuck off nosey

Willow2017 · 27/08/2017 15:18

I would have said "She doesn't have to look at it then" and shut the door.

Some people go looking for things to complain about when they don't have real problems. Bat shit doesn't come close.

AnnieAnoniMouse · 27/08/2017 15:24

I'd still be laughing & tonight I'd be leaving all the toys out, mynoldest toweks, dust sheets, dusters hanging on the line & anything else I could think of.

It's YOUR garden & it's not smelly rubbish, she can just fuck off.

Mummyme1987 · 27/08/2017 15:25

Well at least they aren't using it when you aren't there!
Seriously though do not engage. Crazy might be catching.

LondonNicki · 27/08/2017 15:26

Yes ignore. If you succumb to them they'll feel justified in making future demands. Some people love to complain.

DontTouchTheMoustache · 27/08/2017 15:29

Is her surname "Bucket"?

tinymeteor · 27/08/2017 15:30

@allthewittynamesaregone Genius Grin

StarryCorpulentCunt · 27/08/2017 15:32

I suggest sending her a tube of drawing ointment. She must have terrible splinters from having her nose wedged over your fence.

Namechangetempissue · 27/08/2017 15:32

Hahaha what a moron. Agree with the word arrangement as suggested above.

DragonBone · 27/08/2017 15:33

Lol ! I'd have to purchase another pool just for the hell of it 😆

gingerbeerd · 27/08/2017 15:35

what an odd person..
your backyard, do what you want with it. It's not affecting her in any (reasonable) way, YANBU

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 27/08/2017 15:36

I'd draw an out like around all of your kids and husband on the patio and by some of that police tape from Amazon. Give her something good to be nosy about.

NurseButtercup · 27/08/2017 15:36

Neighbour sent her boyfriend round this morning to tell me to move my swimming pool as she doesn't like the sight of it.

What?

Who are these people? How do they get through life without somebody doing physical harm to them?

1000% agree with AnnieAnoniMouse hang everything you can find on the washing line later Grin

Namechangetempissue · 27/08/2017 15:37

Get in the pool OP. In a bikini, with wine. Lounge and smile.

TrinityRhino · 27/08/2017 15:38

Allthewittynamesaregone fantastic idea Grin

bigredboat · 27/08/2017 15:38

I would have laughed in his face and told him to do one as I shut the door! Don't give an inch to this woman she is clearly from the cheeky fucker school of neighbours.
