I must say I've found today's news incredibly depressing. Yet another case of watching DT do absolutely whatever he wants, whether its against legal laws or laws of normal decency and being allowed to get away with it. Again. I'm not surprised he's getting worse- why wouldn't he, if no-one is prepared to stand up to him? Im coming to the sad conclusion that a sexist racist country where the rule of law means nothing is actually what the american people want.

God, just reading my Twitter feed today makes me want to weep. My partner isn't interested in politics so can't discuss it with him. It's like watching a country implode. And this is THE USA!!!!

Some debate about that online, as far as I can tell orlantina.

It may have an impact on any civil actions brought against Arpaio.

Abuse of the pardon also may be grounds for impeachment .

The latter, I will add to the pile of all the other impeachable activities that don't seem to bring any kind of result.

That was coming.

I suppose it t does show how desperate he is to appease his base.

The problem is that his current base won't give him a re-election.
He needs to move towards the centre.
