Who should have been allowed to use the shower first? DH or DD???

DH has been visiting family this evening (a 2 hour drive away) and picked up DD from work on the way home (she's 18 and finishes at 11pm) they both got in very tired. DD works in a supermarket doing shelves, DH has had a long drive home. He pays the bills, who should have got it first?

The difference is a child is a child. A SAHM is contributing to the running of the house and childcare. My kids, lovely as they are, are not doing anything to pay the cable bill or keep the lights on. I also didn't spend three grand on a sofa for me to not be able to sit in my favourite spot on it!

I rarely use the "my house/my rules" phrase, only if they're being proper arseholes.
