Did this on a course today. I am ISFJ and I was totally freaked out by the profile. It isn't sort of like me. It IS me. It's like somebody sat on my shoulder for a year and then described me. Anybody else had this?

Gosh you're coming across as really hostile, Solaris.

For pointing the flaming obvious?

The I see this tripe peddled in schools as career deciders I despair.

Brain Gym = bollocks

Learning styles = more bollocks

SummerflowerXx · 24/08/2017 20:58

ENFP - i was married to an INTJ, he was a control freak and sucked the life out of me (apologies to all INTJs on here)

KenDoddsDadsDog · 24/08/2017 21:06

ENFP a campaigner
Very appropriate to my career !

MiniTheMinx · 24/08/2017 21:14

INTP. Numerous tests always the same result. But then after the first couple you know how to answer to get the same result.

Reading the description the first time was a relief. I realised that at least I wasn't completely weird if I was part of some 3% and it made a lot of sense of why I struggle in many situations.

user1480334601 · 24/08/2017 21:16

Infp here and totally accurate!

I've even joined a few infp groups on Facebook to chat to "similar" Blush

MyPatronusIsABadger · 24/08/2017 21:18

INFJ, DH is actually the exact opposite.

youarenotkiddingme · 24/08/2017 21:34

INFJ

Pretty accurate for the most part.

Even picked up some things about my personality that I've suspected but never been sure of.

Even my career path covered the various things I've done!

MrsJamesAspey · 24/08/2017 21:35

Esfp - the entertainer

Nope Grin

nicelyneurotic · 24/08/2017 21:35

I'm an ISFP. The artist.

Did it a few years ago and was an INFP so I'm becoming more practical as I age!

CheerfulYank · 25/08/2017 07:48

It's much higher than 50% I'd wager, and nothing like horoscopes.

Somerville · 25/08/2017 14:53

Lots of INTJs here. Now we're here, what shall we do?

Let's have a coup. Or rather, let's plan a coup, then harness the ENTJ's to implement it.

echt

I totally agree that MBTI shouldn't form part of carer planning in schools. I went into DD1's school over it, in fact, when she came home with a list of careers based on an online test. Confused. It's a total misuse of MBTI and I took them evidence of that. (In my opinion MBTI can be useful - for adults, with due warning on its limitations - for some self insight and to stimulate discussion, but I'm happy to agree to disagree with you on that my dear!)

MollyWantsACracker · 25/08/2017 15:45

ENFP-T (turbulent!)

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 25/08/2017 16:00

INFJ-A, apparently ultra rare bit there seems to be loads on here! Grin

userlotsanumbers · 25/08/2017 16:39

ISTP-T EXPLORER

Bear Grylls is one apparently - just got back off cub camp myself, so nicely accurate for me.

Bit of fun, don't like the idea of HR departments making decisions based on that sort of thing though.

RJnomore1 · 25/08/2017 22:04

I'm up for planning a coup then sitting back and watching the chaos unfold

LilaoftheGreenwood · 26/08/2017 14:43

I am INTP, I will do background research for the coup and then wander off down a number of interesting tangents!

SirVixofVixHall · 26/08/2017 15:18

Molly I'm the same as you. Smile I've spotted a few other ENFPs too.
