Because I can think of no other earthly reason why DSs (all 16+) would need to spend upwards of 20 minutes under the shower. They are definitely not depilating as they'd all give Mr Tumnus a run for his money.

We have rainwater tanks for our house water, thank goodness I don't have boys. Have a teenage DD though, and she is bad enough in the shower, if she takes too long we can always turn the hot tap on in the kitchen...that stops her soon enough.

As a PP said they could genuinely be standing under the hot water enjoying it because it's hard to get out, and having no awareness of water wastage!

DS caused an ant infestation in our holiday villa with a wank tissue in his drawer. I wish he'd just used the shower (or put the tissue in the bin).

I'm buying a shower timer just so we can all get out the house in the morning. I genuinely think it's mostly just enjoying the relaxing hot water though.

try a 20 minute wank shower - followed by 10 minutes recovering on his bed listening to Spotify - and making his mother late for work EVERY MORNING for 2 years... - "Leave him, go without him" never worked, because she never would - and he knew it.. - no longer my problem (TG)
