What am I missing ?? Never felt the need for one but best friend says I don't know what I'm missing ? Am I weird for never having a vibrator ??

If you've found this page in search of vibrators that have been tried and tested by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best vibrators useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ 💐

We're it not for vibrators I'd still be waiting for my first orgasm. I'm a 31 year old married woman Sad

I second PPs with starting off small, maybe a bullet vibe, i've found you have to experiment a lot before you find the best one for you, but that's part of the fun!

Check this out, it's a great web comic that reviews sex toys and explains stuff like edging etc. www.ohjoysextoy.com

This is a good site to buy from too, and if you're in or near London they have a shop there, it's geared towards women (no men allowed in unless they're with a woman!) and they offer you a cup of tea or coffee while you browse! www.sh-womenstore.com

Iv had a few and didn't really rate any until I bought the satisfyer pro.
It's make my orgasms more intense during sex as well.

I got three for Christmas one year after a conversation with several friends in which I was the only person who had never tried one. I was heavily pregnant at the time Grin. Haven't looked back.
One day I'd like to buy a really expensive one but I need to persuade myself that it's worth it.

FreedaDonkey · 16/08/2017 17:42

Love me a rabbit

krispmallow · 16/08/2017 17:46

The magic wand made my partner near on redundant 😂

stillvicarinatutu · 16/08/2017 17:59

My best vibe, having tried many a few, is a cumbersome but innocent looking "back massager" from Lidl. I've had it for years. Fantastic!

I bought an expensive rabbit type vibrator (by Tracy Cox) and didn't like it. It wasn't as powerful as Lidl's massager that good and the rabbit ears didn't work well. I did get a G Spot orgasm from it, though, but I prefer a clitoral orgasm.

I highly recommend buying a non battery operated toy.

I have masturbated regularly since I was 14 and highly recommend self pleasure.

OP, not YANBU ... it's up to you.

Personally, we experimented with one rabbit thing years ago, didn't do much for me. I bought the Womanizer fairly recently, expensive, but wow! Very different (for me).

Voice0fReason · 16/08/2017 21:00

I imagine if you like penis but haven't got a partner who can get you there then it's an option
Why would it only be an option if you haven't got a partner who can get you there? Surely it's an option for anyone who wants it, regardless of what satisfaction they are getting elsewhere!
Solo masturbation is fun. Using toys during sex with a partner is fun. It doesn't matter if you can orgasm a dozen different ways - using a vibrator is just another way.

pambeesley · 16/08/2017 22:04

My magic wand that plugs in is amazing although the men I've used it with have been a bit scared at first - it's big! And I've had to explain it's just for external use Hmm

I can have multiple orgasms with it but overuse does leave me a little sore!

I'm just lurking here, hoping that Welshmaenad will elaborate on her earlier remark. Halo
