What am I missing ?? Never felt the need for one but best friend says I don't know what I'm missing ? Am I weird for never having a vibrator ??

What is the best vibe to buy to start out ? Some of them look quite frankly "scary" haha

I have a vibrating penis, ladies. It is a vibrator moulded from my husbands, ahem, penis in silicone. We had fun making that.

As you were!

BakerBear · 15/08/2017 21:05

I had one bought for me over 10 years ago. It was a basic one, never liked it, didnt like the rubber feel of it etc.

Flumplet · 15/08/2017 21:05

My dh felt "threatened" by mine so I got rid 😩 I've recently invested in one that is cunningly disguised as a lip stick💄 he's always bloody here though so I barely ever get to use it.

wallyfeatures · 15/08/2017 21:06

husband's, doh! I only have one husband.

LoyaltyAndLobster · 15/08/2017 21:07

Oh sorry ladies, I automatically thought dildos.

wallyfeatures · 15/08/2017 21:07

As you do

Mumof41987 · 15/08/2017 21:08

That's a shame Flumplet. My DH is of the view that it's a useful addition to give him a break or a helping hand Grin

I have a friend who feels quite smug (best way to describe her way of talking about it) that she "doesn't need" a vibrator because her and her BF have such a great sex life, he's so well endowed etc, but the talks about how it would be awful in a relationships if someone needed to substitute their partner etc.

Many of us have pointed out that it's a 'like and enjoy', not a need. But it suits her to act like anyone with sex toys must be lacking in the bedroom

Sallystyle · 15/08/2017 21:10

The womaniser is all that.

Despite it's horrible name.

TiramisuQueenoftheFaeries · 15/08/2017 21:10

I can orgasm without one . I can orgasm during sex and doing it manually with myself or when dh plays about . Does that mean I won't get fun with a vibe ???
Eh not necessarily, it's just a different thing. Vibes can produce an intensity it's hard to replicate with fingers or penis. Depending on shape and design they can also stimulate multiple areas simultaneously which can lead to very intense orgasms (clit & g-spot, g-spot and anal) which I personally find hard to do myself :)

They are a fun addition to fingers, tongues and penis, whether partnered or solo. It's fun for instance to use vibe to orgasm during sex in a position which wouldn't otherwise hit you right, IYSWIM.

But they're not obligatory. If you fancy it, you can get one and try. If you already know how you have your most intense orgasms then you probably know what you're looking for!

However there is nothing wrong with a dildo. Especially a glass one.

highinthesky · 15/08/2017 21:11

I have neither the time nor the inclination. A nice cup of tea hits my spot Grin

Middle-aged, moi?

wallyfeatures · 15/08/2017 21:12

A kit from lovehoney if I recall correctly. You do it yourself at home. T'is easy if your man's also 'up' for it.

spaghettiforhair · 15/08/2017 21:12

YANBU but don't knock it till you've tried it, nothing wrong with a bit of fun with a vibrator either by yourself or with your partner

Ilovefraybentos · 15/08/2017 21:13

Threatened by a vibrator?! Grin

That's half funny and half sad. Imagine having your choice of masturbation dictated!

Mumof41987 · 15/08/2017 21:13

Cup of tea ??? Erm ok haha I don't think a cup of tea would make me orgasm but whatever floats ya boat

BTW a man can not mimic the sensation of 'The Womaniser'. Neither can my fingers.

OCSockOrphanage · 15/08/2017 21:15

TBH, when I use ours, DH gets off on it more than I do.

Crispsheets · 15/08/2017 21:16

You can get Durex mini vibes in Tesco. £9.99
