Hi guys! Wow I've just had a chance to come back on and noticed the last thread is full already?!

There also seems to be loads of people saying they're over it and don't believe me. That's fine, I'm not going to get into an argument with anyone. I had no idea that I would get so many responses when I initially asked for advice on this situation, however, they have really cheered me up through what has been a really crappy few days at points. Thanks all.

Anyway my Grandma has landed at the airport and should be with me in a couple of hours. It's not even that far away (she likes to take her time)

I don't understand why you're chatting with a corner shop man and calling in Spanish relatives when you should just be calling the police? I'm sure this will be an unpopular or deleted post, but one / two days in, sure. But it's Monday night. You need to call someone. Or.... it seems a tad unrealistic. I apologise to the masses, and I've been a loyal thread follower (the friend being in the shop too long, when you were briefly deleted..even read the poem out to DH. etc) but it's starting to feel a tad unrealistic. This is your life and garden, surely you want it sorted?

MaryPoppins the OP has been down the legal route and has done everything it's possible to do in what will ultimately be a lenthy process. The police, as many serving police on the threads have already pointed out, will not get involved. The threads are here to provide support and comic relief. That's all.

Just curious, as Abuela (sp?) A translation for grandmother or does it mean something else? I know it's used to refer to a grandmother but that's about all I know

It was pointed out early on in strong terms by people with the relevant knowledge that this wasn't a police matter as trespass is a civil offence.

Now, if the CFBs/CFNs were to threaten Wattyyy, then the police would be more interested.

Wattyyy has taken all the appropriate actions: contacted Planning who came out within 24 hours and who have issued a Stop notice and said it was a high priority but even then the process of reinstatement could take months ; contacted her lawyer (although we haven't had an update on what actions the lawyer has taken/will take hopefully a "Cease & Desist" letter ); and contacted her Buildings Insurance (no update on that yet either).

De-lurking to say that I have just tried to read out SchadenfreudePersonified's translation to my 16 yo daughter. I failed. She couldn't understand why I was crying with laughter and unable to speak (especially when I got to the nostril cream).

Been with the thread since the start and cannot wait for the ultimate comeuppance of the CFNs (when it eventually comes, which it will - it just might be a long wait!)
