What if the builders who called yesterday took away the notice that had been posted through the letterbox by the Planning Dept.?

Feasible. It gives the builders breathing space to get paid and away, with CFNs left blissfully unaware and no doubt continuing with their plans to install a pool and a Greco-Roman arbour complete with tableau of gods and potentially an EKL in OP's garden.

Another person finding this from the update email here. I read all 5 threads last night and had to check back this morning.

My theory is the CFN is a buy to let landlord who didn't realise the OP had bought the flat she was renting and thought she could get away with misappropriating the garden before the new owners moved in.

Also can I say thank you for the posts about the app and bookmarking threads, the new (well new to me, it's probably been around for ages!) app is very nice, and lots less scrolling! And EKL was brilliant!

Kids wanna go to the park again today. School holidays have been action packed so far! So today, whilst I still thought it was Sunday I declared a day of mumsnet rest.
