I hate the term "hobby". It really irritates me.

I always wonder this too. Also posters say they can't say what it is as it's too "outing" . How does that work? Surely every other poster on here won't be part of the same mediaeval re/enactment society or whatever it is

Hobbies = cycling, golf, fishing, Morris dancing & in extreme cases, seagulling

I saw one recently that eventually revealed his "hobby" urgh was cooking. I didn't realise the fact I enjoy cooking and sometimes do it for fun made it a "hobby" urgh. It's just a thing I do, not a fucking "hobby" urgh
