Continuation of the discussion.

It looks highly unlikely that there will be a verdict today as GOSH have not yet been able to put their case across. The Gard family had their position heard this morning and currently an expert witness from the US is being questioned via video link.

So, just to be clear, this is the same doc, the original one from the US, who said he could treat and then changed his mind after speaking to GOSH, at which point he said it would be futile. And now he seems to have 'new evidence' although hasn't read the notes, or the judge's statement form the case...is that right?

rabbitnothare · 13/07/2017 17:42

PortiaFinis it does irritate me and a fair few others. It was a telling off wrapped up in your opinion.

All a bit bossy boots sometimes.

Venusflytwat · 13/07/2017 17:42

It was obvious someone had spoken to Laura Gard about the group yesterday. She hasn't cared about the threats before and the admins don't let any factual posts stand.

I reported well over 20 slanders and threats of violence, kidnapping etc to FB and I know others did to police.

I imagine many of CA are frantically deleting and hoping nobody has screenshotted them.

LovelyBath77 · 13/07/2017 17:43

Is he one of the same ones on the '7 doctors' letter? I'm confused.

rabbitnothare · 13/07/2017 17:43

LovelyBath77, yes I think so, I am confused to though as it was reported only last week that he was still offering to do it for free Confused

LovelyBath77 · 13/07/2017 17:44

I wonder if some of CA are regretting the death threats they posted, now.

Rhodiolia · 13/07/2017 17:44

FB ignored my reports which is why I contacted the Met, as some of those threats were pretty vile. I had an email to say it was with the correct department, so I guess they took it seriously.

rabbitnothare · 13/07/2017 17:44

In the Vatican statement, it said it would be a collaberation.

PortiaFinis · 13/07/2017 17:44

I am so pleased the threats have been addressed, that is brilliant.

I hope that means that whatever the outcome CA will not resume that awful whipping up.

DorotheaBeale · 13/07/2017 17:44

how can th lawyrs agree what happens next they both want different things

I assume they're discussing procedural matters, not the outcome of the case.

GabsAlot · 13/07/2017 17:44

i think so lovly unless im mistaken

Venusflytwat · 13/07/2017 17:44

I screenshotted a death threat. Where should I send it to?

LovelyBath77 · 13/07/2017 17:45

Ok, so if it was for free what would he be getting from it? An experiment, I suppose. The involvement with a high profile case which is in the USA knowledge / press?

GabsAlot · 13/07/2017 17:45

th police venus

id say the met

JustAnotherSod · 13/07/2017 17:45

GabsAlot the lawyers will be have a discussion about how the case proceeds not what the decision for Charlie will be - it's the procedure rather than the outcome that they discussing if that makes sense.

NerrSnerr · 13/07/2017 17:46

I'm glad the people threats have been addressed and I hope there are some of them are worried (although I doubt they'll realise how serious it can be).

LovelyBath77 · 13/07/2017 17:46

I'm not sure. Someone suggested the Met Police. You can contact GOSH via there FB page. And presumably contact FB.

WankYouForTheMusic · 13/07/2017 17:46

Yeah the lawyers will be talking about how to proceed. They can have different desired outcomes but agree on eg whether they want an adjournment or whether someone should be called or not.

I'm another who's delighted that those in contempt of court will be dealt with. Throw the book at the fuckers.

11122aa · 13/07/2017 17:46

Death threats must be sent to the Police.

rabbitnothare · 13/07/2017 17:46

Venusflytwat, the Met police I think.

GabsAlot · 13/07/2017 17:47

thats what i think the high profile case which he is trying to cure th poor baby

LovelyBath77 · 13/07/2017 17:47

Yes, I think some people think they can write what they like online and delete it after, if needed. Maybe they don't realise people can screenshot, or report it first. They aren't the brightest, some of them.

muckypup73 · 13/07/2017 17:47

Venusflytwat, I would send it to the Met, I will bet theres a few bloody deleted facebook accounts today, sad fuckers will probably just join with another user name/.

FlowerSour · 13/07/2017 17:47

One of my friends in RL mentioned that a petition should be set up to get Facebook to take the group down.

What's your opinion on this?

LovelyBath77 · 13/07/2017 17:47

Yes, imagine if he did improve a bit, he might be celebrated? And if not, at least he tried..
