Continuation of the discussion.

It looks highly unlikely that there will be a verdict today as GOSH have not yet been able to put their case across. The Gard family had their position heard this morning and currently an expert witness from the US is being questioned via video link.

Well I've never seen any abuse . Just frustration and petitions for what's right . And what's right is to release Charlie for his treatment and to give connie n Chris their rights back . They are playing the slander n victim card . Of course a huge case like this there is going to be controversy along the way . But charlies army have always been respectful from what I've seen x

I hope some of the nasty CA members are prosecuted for their awful comments about the staff at GOSH. That's been the worst part of this whole dreadful situation.

alltouchedout it's a fast moving thread so I understand if you didn't see what I posted it in relation to but it was after two posters 'told off' others for calling the Dr a quack.

Apparently that's as bad as CA.

CA supporters saying it's not their fault if isolated people make threats, they can't be expected to police it. Yet they manage to remove all the comments that support GOSH.

The judge also mentioned that the GOSH lawyers had received abuse. That was definitely incited by CA.

I should say, court hasn't finished for the day. Lawyers conferring on best way forward and will come back in to tell judge at some point.

I think we need to be fair here; this guy is a specialist in mitrochondrial conditions, not neurology. Presumably the areas are very niche.

I thought he was a neurologist with a specialism in mitro disorders. I don't think he's a paediatric neuro or intensivist though which might explain the need for someone else to do the assessment.

I'm glad the threats have been addressed.

I reported a few to FB yesterday and they have been taken down.

I also reported one ca poster to the NHS trust they work for, with screenshots attached. This will have the 'appropriate action' taken apparently.

Even if it's just a trustwide email to remind people of their social media policy I feel it will be worth it.
