A friend of mine had a cousin who happened to also be a cousin of Jim Kerr from Simple Minds. Although my friend was not actually related to Jim Kerr she referred to him as her half cousin. Another friend used to boast that she and Simon Le Bon were at school together, they did indeed go to the same school but not at the same time. Anyone else got any vague claims to fame?

Used to be friends with Sam Neill's sister.

Am 3 degrees of Kevin Bacon via that and 3 degrees of Kevin Bacon via Peter Jackson's make up artists. Who came to a con instead of him when he was slammed on set.

I shared a Green Room with Linda Lusardi and Anthea Turner.

I worked with most of the Zlist craft celebs. (Alan & Barry, Dawn Bibby, Stephanie Weightman)

I stumbled and almost fell into Jeremy Clarksons lap, and he didn't even notice, --or just totally ignored me.

My DH's best female friend went out with Owen Money.

i was behind Colin Jackson in the queue in Tesco.

Really tentative link - I passed a scholarship to the school Charlotte Church went to, but my parents couldn't afford to it me out with the uniform. would have been there around the same time.

My childhood milkman also delivered to Charlotte Churchs' house.

I went to the school in this article and was in the same class as several of these guys. Also people not mentioned; a couple of semi professional football players, a comedian who used to be a PE teacher at the school (before I was there) , one half of Cardinal Burns, and apparently Pierce Brosnan too. It was just a state comp in a London borough, nothing special.

I went to the same school as Paula Wilcox and Caroline Aherne....we were all there at different times.

I lived around the corner many years ago from Chris Quentin.

More recently I lived in the same village as a prem goal keeper.

My mother was related distantly to the lady who married Roger Bannister.

I used to do PR for VVIP's in a top hotel so I've met a few people - I looked after Mohammed Ali for the duration of his stay, he was lovely. I also met Sting, BEP, Alicia Keys, Buble, a handful of sporting teams, Hilary Clinton and Henry Kissinger. I could tell you some stories Wink.
