FishInAWetSuitAndFlippers agree!! To many on there have waded in with their opinion. To many I love this child..I've cried..it ain't about you! About the parents and Charlie. Talks of doing a protest tommrow how will that help parents? They won't get the space to grief and everyone be going on how sad they are..the Army have twisted it but yet family on there aren't helping either by what they post.

Don't get the petition either...surley they know be looked at and think nope. Not exactly evidence just gives people change to feel part of something I guess

Aww, tried to post that last message from GOSH on the Chat thread for GOSH but it had just reached capacity. It was mentioned about this one though so hopefully they can read it here. And welcome anyone joining in.

@Sostenueto I think I know where you are at. If I'm interpreting your posts correctly at least part of the issue you have with what you saw is that the woman chose to bring several severely disabled children into the world and she perhaps seemed indifferent to the suffering of the babies. There is clear relevance with the Gard case in that this is what the pro-lifer's believe is right; that every embryo, foetus and child has a right to life no matter what the quality of that life might be.

Protesting is not going to help, neither is yelling at the judge, neither is threatening to kill staff at Gosh, a false petition will not help either, because by all accounts most of it is fake by people that have not signed it.

I don't have sympathy for the parents. They lost the right to that a long time ago. I hope the decision is made tomorrow to allow Charlie to pass away.
I feel immense anger at the vitriol and abuse that GOSH have suffered. That's who I'm saving my sympathy for .

Lonely I am pleased to read your update and hope your precious ballerina continues to improve.

I honestly honestly think the quicker its over, the less stressfull it will be for the parents, well not less stressful, but they can get on and greive properly,instead of being bolstered up for something thats not going to happen

It's a terrible time for Charlie's family and everyone touched by his situation, but we are doing everything we can to support them. I think you've hit the nail on the head. If all people have done is gone on the CA page & listened to Connie being interviewed you almost can't name them for not really understanding the reality

From the petition..set up by Americans United for life...so a pro life group..the wording on it is..pretty much the same as on the site. Yep judge definitely going to take notice of something that is calling GOSH murders in its little write up about the case..

Has anyone noticed the BBC news video posted 3 hrs ago on FB titled

"This mother is facing a terrible dilemma – she feels that her daughter’s quality of life is so bad that doctors should let her die.
She's asking, “What would you do if this was your child?”"

It's about a child with a genetic disease and having seizures and her life...I can't seem to look to it but it is obviously posted with regard to the CH case. The comments beneath are interesting, some measured, but some from CA types.

Anyway it's interesting to look at from a different parents' perspective.In this case the mum wants treatment stopped, the medics are not so sure and want to assess her.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee, seriously I am sure half of them need certifying.

I wish they would stop using "kill' it is totally inappropriate.

There is a woman, who seems a bit...erm....manic, stating her sister-in-law is a member of congress and that the CG case is being discussed right at this moment. According to her, she will have the inside knowledge within a couple hours and she will only divulge this information to Connie, but Connie must be able to identify herself first. She is insinuating that it's going in favour of the Gards and that the US is about to over rule UK because no one messes with Trump and the Pope. Apparently, Trump sends his plane to get save children quite often.
She claims she just text her Sister-inLaw about the morphine and got an instant reply (while in a congress meeting)

I would laugh if she wasn't so frightening!!

Oh, and she's telling CA to carry on protesting but to shower and dress smarter because all they can see on TV is scruffy women holding their babies

LovelyBath77,thats could be a good peice of journalism couldnt it? when there might not be a woman, but people feel differently, because the woman knows her child is suffering??? does that make sense? so it can be reversed?

I have been asked on a message if the new thread can have a hashtag in it, and GOSH? But unsure what this means. please let me know if it is helpful or not.

A bit like of those threads on mumsnet, when its role reversal?
