Lonelymummy, I think your name should be changed to Lovelymummy, because everything you post about your daughter shows your care and love for her. Sending you good thoughts and prayers and lighting a candle for you. And very much hoping that the news isn't making your life harder at the moment.

(why yes, I am a MASSIVE lurker, how perceptive!)

I've followed the case and lurked on these threads a lot but haven't checked out the CA page until tonight. Unbelievable. I always presumed that the CA posts quoted here were likely extreme examples but now realise that they are the tone of the majority.

For those who haven't checked the page out yet then I really suggest that you don't. I found it oddly compulsive but totally depressing. The collective stupidity, mob mentaility and lack of reason are staggering. The worst thing though is the impression that they're somehow enjoying the drama of it all.

Did you know there's #charliesfight wristbands? Am I late to this?

DarthMaiden I completely agree but I think the issue with that particular poster is that she seeks out all the threads (including the fund raising one), makes goady comments and never hangs around to discuss.

I asked her on a couple about her vague accusations and she buggers off and finds another one to goad on.

No idea what her agenda is really.

kali110, I have not looked at the Usa page, I darent, as I have enough going on with the pages I look at anyway, my trouble is if I feel passionate about something, I am like a dog with a bone and having been through the experince myself with my brother I think I feel more so and I truly should walk away, so no, there are a number of pages going as well as the Usa one x

I could never have believed that people would post comments abusing a children's hospital on Facebook until it was posted on here.

RJnomore There is worse than wristbands, baby bottles, air freshners, sippy cups, baby clothes and car air fresheners are all in the shop.

I couldn't believe all the stuff on ca usa, or on gosh are they even connected to the real ca??
I feel so sorry for charlie, and i do feel sorry for the parents.
I'm very afraid of what's going to happen when this case is over and what will happen to gosh and it's staff.

The fact that the CA mods are letting comments about murdering medical professionals, storming the hospital and bazookaing(?) the building stand, whilst deleting legit comments with don't align with the facts their views says a lot. We're told the parents read the messages to the extent where some posters have had DMs from Connie, yet there's been no posts reminding posters that violence (real or threatened) isn't appropriate or constructive. That's just so basic. Charlie is still being looked after and cared for by these professionals; the least they could be doing is calling off the baying mob.

Stopnamechanging me neither! Some of the comments i read directed at people simply who didn't agree with ca was truly disgusting

Lonelymummy I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. You've written about her, and yourself, so eloquently and with such heart. I hope she recovers from the sepsis

As for the army, I suspect that in a year or so when GOSH is in the news for saving a very ill child's life, half of them will be all over the FB page calling them 'hero's' and 'angles' while Charlie's parents have to live with their grief and maybe regrets

The degree of delusion that is apparent is staggering. Equally staggering is the amount of money that's being generated. I am very uncomfortable with the fact that people are encouraged to donate direct to Connie Yates' bank account and PayPal. The longer this goes, the more money that moves in to those accounts. There is no identified need for that money so why is it still being collected?

I was reading CA last night and accidentally clicked join. There's a set of questions that you to answer before they'll even consider you. 🙄
