I'll probably get flamed for this but finding the whole situation desperately sad for the child(ren?) involved. Who does this and in the full glare of the media too, I'm getting that they are two damaged individuals but come on, this is awful if true!

Still no excuse though. Just makes me glad I'm single. Sounds like a csde of 'staying together for the sake of the kid(s)'. It never works. Someone I know did this and I still think her home is more broken than mine will ever be (you hear them rowing constantly when you walk past- them too have just had another baby!)

I'm guessing SS are involved. We never had an inkling that one woman had any interaction until the night her children were all taken away under an EPO. Turned out they'd been involved for years.

Meant to add without being too outing. Yes said woman was pregnant at the time, and yes said unborn child was also taken immediately at birth.

The bruises on her arm look like the sort you end up with after a boozy night out if someone has to hold you up.

I left a violent relationship in jan, I had to prove massively how I would protect my kids from him in order to not have social services involvement. I would be gobsmacked if they had none.

Yes from what we can see, from the outside looking in, I'd say they meet the criteria for some kind of ss involvement.

I hope it can be worked out in the best way for the children, whatever that may be.

The bruises on her arm were picture in the newspaper on 28th June

They were nothing to do with this particular boozy day/night out. She's just presenting them as being from then (without specifically saying so). The bruises on her legs look like are the same 'age' as the ones on her arms judging by the colour.

I find it desperately sad / she was such a mess on CBB that I just couldn't hate her . I think she might just about be OK but it will necessitate splitting from him and some proper MH support .

If she gets back with him after claiming he broke 5 of her ribs (and I'm doubtful about that particular allegation) then she's just as stupid as him.

I do, however, suspect that their combined stupidity and desperation for column inches means they'll be loved up again in a photo shoot within the next couple of weeks.
