3 times that I have noticed anyway. She's had her hair done, new extensions put it so I presume that's what she's been doing today. Could get a week of childcare for the cost of them!

I can't believe her nerve!

Justhadmyhaircut · 04/07/2017 17:59

Sent dh for popcorn. . .

Hope it rains on her hair!! Grin

FreakinScaryCaaw · 04/07/2017 18:00

She's a true odd bod

TinselTwins · 04/07/2017 18:01

Don't worry about the other school mums. the one I "let down" by not taking in her rediculous menagerie of pets for her is now unable to get the most simplest of favours from anyone in our year group

She's badmouthed me to her new bestie in the year bellow, but I don't mind because it's only a matter of time before her good will runs out too

famtastic · 04/07/2017 18:02

She's not scary in that way. Just strange and doesn't take no, or see anything they do is wrong or strange. Always came across as harmless just entitled and hard faced and a bit dramatic if that makes sense.

Interesting that she can afford to glam herself up but not pay for childcare...

ememem84 · 04/07/2017 18:05

Interesting

mikeyssister · 04/07/2017 18:06

She's going to call on you when she's absolutely sure you're alone and cry on your shoulder.

She'll probably have a sob story about money, about how her eldest has been suffering socially and emotionally, bullied in school and with MH difficulties. How her DH has been having a go at her because she hasn't sorted childcare when she said she had and on and on and on............

She'll lay it on really thick and keep laying it on until you collapse in a puddle of guilt and say yes.

STAY STRONG

SabineUndine · 04/07/2017 18:06

She probably has the mindset that it's a waste of money to pay for childcare when you can bully someone into looking after your kids for free. So £100 on a new do is fine, but offering to pay someone to look after your kids is what lower beings do.

famtastic · 04/07/2017 18:07

I don't feel surprised, they always buy things for them selves. The kids that they weirdly desperately need childcare for are not in other ways first on their priorities it's all very strange. I almost feel she wants childcare to trap me in the holidays because she has to work and I don't, I know what I mean but I can't explain it very well lol

If she knocks on your door again STAY STRONG!!

QueenieGoldstein · 04/07/2017 18:08

She will never give up. She's like a childcare needing T1000. You need a vat of liquid metal to melt her in.

chickenowner · 04/07/2017 18:08

I know what you mean Fam - she's jealous that you don't work and she probably hates her job.

That's not your problem though!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/07/2017 18:09

Make sure when she does, you either don't answer, or keep her firmly on naughty step 😂
The woman is a tyrant, the absolute cheek of her, is beyond me.😮

SabineUndine · 04/07/2017 18:09

She is probably panicking about having to spend some time with her own DC.

If you bump into her in the street, suggest she ask one of the other parents she's been talking to about you, to look after her kids.

I sort of understand what you mean. If she has to work, then she wants others to work, sorry WORK, and not have free time.

Can't wait until the first Monday of the holidays when she tries to bring the DC around!

SallyGinnamon · 04/07/2017 18:11

Ooh good. You're back! Will keep checking in for the next cheeky instalment.

I can't believe she hasn't given up yet!

(Although actually I can, a little bit. Some people live in their own special little world, don't they!)

AcrossthePond55 · 04/07/2017 18:13

I agree, she's either sussing your house to see who's there or she's walking back and forth in the hopes that you won't be able to resist coming out and picking up where she left off (sans vomit). Good luck with that one, WORKzilla dearie! Bonkers!

As far as the school gates go I think it's a case of 'them that know don't care, them that care don't know'. People will believe what they choose to believe regardless of the facts of the matter and in the long run if you lose someone because of her lies, then that person wasn't a friend to begin with.

But perhaps you'll want to wear a 'sandwich board' on your first day back saying on the front "No I never agreed to provide summer childcare for WORKzilla" and on the back "Not my circus, not my monkeys". Or maybe just 'WORKzilla's nuts. No ifs, ands, or buts'.

rollonthesummer · 04/07/2017 18:14

Good luck to any of the school mums who offer her sympathy-they'll find themselves in the same position as you!

Angelicinnocent · 04/07/2017 18:15

I'm so desperate to see a post from another mum in the playground who was getting moaned at this morning by the batshit crazy woman in the playground.

Surely 1 of them at least is a mums better!
