Surely she won't come back for more?

BlueCarrotsAreMagical · 04/07/2017 20:09

Wow thread 3! Grin

ragdoll700 · 04/07/2017 20:13

I spent most of last night reading this I can't believe the neck on some people it's crazy, I don't usually look after kids but will be this Aug for someone DP works with and only 2 days a week and will be getting paid for it. The kids are older but both primary school they will prob entertain my two for the few days (I hope :))

CaveMum · 04/07/2017 20:14

Far too overinvested in this, but yay for a 4th thread!

winglesspegasus · 04/07/2017 20:15

very late response
sorry dif time zone and roof leaking

i made a commet comparing 2 earrings last week to workzilla'
it was meant in the most positive sense.
love both threads
and giving support to op's is so right

took me years to be able to stand up for myself

Mammamooandboo · 04/07/2017 20:17

Blatent placemarking for later. Seriously though i started the first thread and felt my anxiety rising just from reading it then major pride for you (and especially your little one) and determination towards the end. I so want her to carry on being pushy and rude and for you to keep strong Smile

Lozzie12 · 04/07/2017 20:18

This is the best thread ever!

diddl · 04/07/2017 20:19

Is it Mon or a week on Mon that she first needs childcare?

She wouldn't really drop & run, would she?

rainbowpie · 04/07/2017 20:19

Don't mind me. Just having a cup of tea and catching up on today's installment (and placemarking).

famtastic · 04/07/2017 20:20

Popped out with sil to get a gift for her Mum. Workzilla was getting something out of her car as we drove by, I was perfecting the look very interested at the road look. When she started waving and smiling at us!Shock sil just stuck her middle finger up as we went past and she looked genuinely surprised and hurt. lol I don't think I took a breath for 10minutes! So yes she slagged me off today but genuinely thinks or did that all is ok!

YouTheCat · 04/07/2017 20:21

I believe it's the 17th and so we might need another thread. Grin

YouTheCat · 04/07/2017 20:22

OP, she still thinks you're having her kids on 17th.

HSMMaCM · 04/07/2017 20:22

If she knocks on the door, you can say "you know my dc is I'll. sorry I have to go".

Chocolatekeepsmesane · 04/07/2017 20:23

She's got a real bloody nerve.

DartmoorDoughnut · 04/07/2017 20:24

Wow she really is totally deranged

notapizzaeater · 04/07/2017 20:25

She's mad, I can't believe any sane person thinks it ok to get people up at 6.30 every day .....

We don't even get up that early in the week

famtastic · 04/07/2017 20:26

Husbands off so she would get a shock, and if she drops and runs he will do the same at her work place, she doesn't drive ( I still said her car on last post before someone says troll, it's if being correct as I know I have to be careful with detail her husbands car ) so he would beat her and be waiting when she got there lol

OP posts:
DAMNgina · 04/07/2017 20:26

It's odd isn't it?

I ghosted someone because of her bizarre and unwarranted sense of entitlement.

About a year on from the last text I ignored from her, I saw her in the street.

She went rearranged her face into a smile and made as if to stop and chat - I knew that if I let one word out, I would be suckered back in.

So I blanked her.

She stopped in the street, inhaled deeply and put her hand on her heart as if she'd been punched.

Sooooo weird.

People are weird.

Roughlyroughrough · 04/07/2017 20:27

I think I'm in love with your SIL. Grin

Libitina · 04/07/2017 20:27

he would beat her and be waiting when she got there lol

If this happens, please tell him to film her reaction for research purposes of course.

DAMNgina · 04/07/2017 20:28

he would beat her and be waiting when she got there

I almost want her to do the drop and run so this happens

What I genuinely do think will happen is that the kids are sent over by themselves.

The same tactic will work though.

londonrach · 04/07/2017 20:28

OTHER MNTTERS in fam school....we need you. Whats worksville saying. Loving sil fam (buried under sleeping baby so having to read mn!)

NataliaOsipova · 04/07/2017 20:28

she looked genuinely surprised and hurt.

Hopefully this will make her take a step back and reflect on her awful behaviour.....

TakeMe2Insanity · 04/07/2017 20:28

She is beyond seriously odd. Walking past your house, waiting for you its just not normal rational behaviour. Surely she must feel the need to create her own AIBU thread of her own...

Stay strong OP.

GreenTulips · 04/07/2017 20:30

I love that your DH would drop them to her work (and actually surprised she hasn't asked for a lift)
