AIBU to think that thousands of people loving charlie and bradley is some what false.

I know exactly what It is like to have a poorly child same as hundreds more parents in the uk.
Set aside my belief that I believe that bradley has very little dignity and both him and charlie are now used as some weird sort of click bait.

The supporters I do not understand it ?

We love you, we are heart broken and we will miss you.

Now I get empathy but this is not empathy this is media posts just gone crazy to write the most heart breaking post they can.
I wish neither of these children would have to lose their life and can undetstand the parents pain just like the rest of the terminally ill children in this country.

You can feel sad that these things happen but this just seems weird and could not imagine allowing a nation of people watching my child pass away.

I mean how many of them 2 years from now will wake up on the morning of their anniversary and automatically remember them ?

They are reporting GOSH to the NSPCC for child cruelty

Well then they are both foolish and naïve, by not considering the consequences of that.

Because, if what they are aiming for- a monumental setting aside of a High Court verdict- was to happen and Charlie got to the USA, on his return to the UK the only Hospital in the Country capable of treating him, wouldn't legally be allowed to do so

They need better representation if this has been suggested to them!

Apparently he definately qualifies for refugee status 😡

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 05/07/2017 20:19

They're talking about this situation like it's an app you can delete and reinstall Shock

This is a human being. That poor little boy. I can't believe people are carrying on like that on CA-it's a complete circus.

chupsmelad · 05/07/2017 20:30

maudlin don't worry, you definitely can't deregister a birth.

In fact there was a big kerfuffle in Holland a few years back as two art students registered a birth as an art project (there was no baby). It turned out to be almost impossible to 'undo' because there is simply no such thing as un-recording the recording of a birth.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 05/07/2017 20:30

The discussion has been about the hunning, not about the children themselves

I beg to disagree there . Some comments were made and photos deleted that were very disparaging of his parents too ! Come on I reported one !

CA will all fade away soon enough and find something else to focus their rather uneducated minds on

GOSH will continue to be amazing

Charlie I pray will Peacefully fade away god bless his little soul

But his parents will never ever get over the pain if this and I am sure they will be aware at some level of the negative views held .

I can't bring myself to slate people that will be grieving and incomplete for the rest of their lives

DorotheaBeale · 05/07/2017 20:32

These people are so far into cloud cuckoo land, I seriously have to wonder how they function in every day life. Do they have jobs, deal with banks, landlords, utility companies etc? How can adults (I'm assuming they're adults) have such a total lack of understanding of how the world works?

SerfTerf · 05/07/2017 20:35

Some comments were made and photos deleted that were very disparaging of his parents too ! Come on I reported one !

I must have missed that.

DeleteOrDecay · 05/07/2017 20:35

These people are deluded and dangerous. De-register a birth? Wtf??

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 05/07/2017 20:36

As someone said earlier we still have Lynch mobs - I read today about that poor Iranian man that was beaten to death and burnt because they though he was a 'peado'

we had brexit too

Why are so suprised that these people exist it's only unusual in that it's women not men in this case ! Sorry 😐

thatdearoctopus · 05/07/2017 20:37

they're all trying to contact jeremy corbyn. I cannot see him using a sick child to score political points.

Hahaha. Can't you?

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 05/07/2017 20:41

Charlie's Army are similiar to Corries Army ( missing airman Corrie McKeague)

There was no reasoning with that bunch either

It's like it's fashionable to be part of some group 'campaigning'

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 05/07/2017 20:43

That's what don't like about it. The posts Yeah bad enough but to much look at me me I've done this..I've cried for hours I'm so sad..my child cares to aren't I a good mum. So many look at me posts seem trying to just want the awwwwww hun replies.

And as posts are moderated any rational ones nope gone

teawamutu · 05/07/2017 20:48

It's an attempt to make themselves feel like they matter. They don't give a flying shite about Charlie Gard.

If they put as much energy into their actual lives as this demented lynch mobbing, they'd possibly have actual things to feel proud of. Ironic, really.

LogicalPsycho · 05/07/2017 20:49

But his parents will never ever get over the pain if this and I am sure they will be aware at some level of the negative views held

They have taken on the expert view of Doctors and the High Court, I am sure they are aware this would mean not everyone would agree with that decision.
They are publicly slandering a hospital that has saved the lives of thousands of children.
If Charlie's parents can openly criticise the hospital, then other parents- some of whom have children under the care of GOSH themselves, can justifiably defend it.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 05/07/2017 20:58

It makes me sick seeing posts like "show us a picture of you travelling to the protest" followed by loads of posts of mothers dressing their kids in blue and taking them out just to stand around hearing scary things, makes me nauseous.

BlueNeighbourhood · 05/07/2017 20:59

I don't understand why the whole Lowery family are wanting to update us that he's 'waiting to take his last breath'. I'm sure it's massively upsetting for his family and all associated with him however the social media needs to stop, and he needs to be allowed to pass away in peace with his family. This family's seem to have a desire to be in the media, either with the Mum or family friend constantly writing. When all in all Bradley's death is a private matter and something they don't need to share.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 05/07/2017 21:02

QuackPorridgeBacon then you see posts of ooooo great to see children there showing support..not by choice!

MyGastIsFlabbered · 05/07/2017 21:04

Quack and how fucking scared are these children going to be if, god forbid, they have to go into hospital, having heard that hospitals kill people? Confused

GreatWhites · 05/07/2017 21:05

Quack and how fucking scared are these children going to be if, god forbid, they have to go into hospital, having heard that hospitals kill people?

I wager that 90% of them will treat the staff who encounter them like shit. They will be belligerent and shouty and unpleasant because of their belief in a 'they' conspiring against them.

LogicalPsycho · 05/07/2017 21:08

Quack and how fucking scared are these children going to be if, god forbid, they have to go into hospital, having heard that hospitals kill people?

Very good point. It's these kind of people that say to a misbehaving child "Stop that now, or I'll tell the policeman to come", meaning that at a time the child really needs one, ie if they got lost, they'll be too scared to approach one incase they 'take me away'.
Fucking idiots.

totallyliterally · 05/07/2017 21:25

Complaining to the nspcc???

Jesus, as if they haven't got enough to do dealing with real actual complaints.

I still can't understand what they want. It says very clearly in court docs that to take him to America would cause him suffering with no positive outcome.

There is no doctor who can make him better, it is utterly heart breaking, but those are the facts.

Toddlerteaplease · 05/07/2017 21:28

I could not agree More Op.

MommaGee · 05/07/2017 21:31

Theresa crazy people on both sides tbh. Just had someone on a newspaper article compare Charlie's parents with Maddie's Mcanns parents!! People just drive me nuts.

JonSnowsWhore ah ok thanks haha

MusicForTheJiltedGeneration · 05/07/2017 21:53

The medical expert that the parents arranged to assess Charlie's condition agreed with GOSH and they still wouldn't accept the decision. The doctor in the US has said there is very little hope that the therapy would work, and if it did it wouldn't improve his quality of life, just extend it The parents themselves agreed that they wouldn't want Charlie to continue living they way he is now.

It's one thing hoping for miracles, it's another when it's reaching a point where you are, frankly, deluded.

These parents have not been well served by the people advising or supporting them. I wonder if they think CA will turn on them with their vitriol if they ever "give up fighting" now Sad
