To ask what your weight, height and dress size are?

I've seen loads of threads on here lately with people questioning how people can be a certain dress size at a certain weight.

I'm really interested to se how much it can vary from person to person and if people who are the same weight and height could be completely different dress sizes as I suppose muscle mass is a factor too.

Anyway, I'm rambling.

I'll start it off:

Height: 5ft 4.5
Weight: 8 stone 12 lbs
Dress Size: 10

5'5
10st 3lb
Size 10 on top, 10-12 on bottom
Even when I was 7.5 stone I was a 10 on bottom, always had a disproportionate arse thanks to my Mam

Weight 9st7
Height 5ft 6
Dress size, eight (although I'm getting a lot of early pregnancy bloat going on and I'd definitely call myself a larger eight, and a ten within the next fortnight!)

156 cm (5' 1" ish)
46 kg (7st 3?)
waist (often the problem point I find) 64 cm/ approx 25"

Depends totally on where I buy clothes from. Surf brands - size 10 to be comfortable. High street clothes - size 8 usually too big (particularly around the waist). Just bought a pair of hiking/climbing trousers, they're labelled size 4, and they're also too big FFS (must be US sizes I think).

Isn't it interesting how we are all using imperial measures for this? Would never use them for anything else!

Height 5' 2. Weight is something over 20 stone but I never get weighed. Dress size is 28 on the bottom and 34 on the top. (55 inch chest)

I also want to know where those of you buying size 6 clothes find 'em! Shops only seem to go down to a size 8, and nine times out of ten they're sold out.

10 stone 1 right now, but can fluctuate up to about ten and a half stone quite easily

Realistically this is all bullshit.

Because, you know, we are all different. Even at different points in our lives.

At 36 I killed a fit as fuck tonned body after training for 12 weeks or something. Weighed not much less than I do now and looked completely different.

I haven't worked out for ages but recently lost weight (not sure why, am working that out) but I suddenly have a 'thigh gap' that I didn't have at this weight with tone. My arms are skinny without tone. My stomach is like a little barrel.

This is skinny fat. I'm not sure how I got this, but it's shit as well.

Sometimes we have to buy sizes to accomodate the bits of us that aren't fucking 'average'.

Reading these certainly proves that you can't guess dress size going by people's weight and height, few people taller and lighter than me but with a bigger dress size. I'd assume they would be smaller.

I'm wearing 14 jeans but they are too big and have last week tried on my old 12 jeans and can do them up but they feel a bit tight yet.
Also found an old pair of gap jeans that are a 32 inch waist and are fine for an hour just after they are washed but then I'm always hiking them up!

It took me a good 2 stone before I could get into a smaller size though!
