To think Kelly Osbourne is vile

Just read this story about Kelly Osbourne ranting at Starbucks for not letting her use the toilet and how she ended up with piss in her shoe. Just as disgusting as her mother. And I don't know why she thought so much of herself that she expects to use a toilet for free, most of us mere mortals understand you normally have to make a purchase in store to use the facilities.

No naivete if that the word you were going for. Just a weak bladder and decades of experience using public Loos and finding them to be pretty OK, on the whole.

that's

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 27/06/2017 07:47

Doesn't she have some not insignificant MH problems or am I imagining that ?

MacarenaFerreiro · 27/06/2017 07:57

It's very unclear from the article whether she was refused access to a PUBLIC toilet for customers, or to the staff facilities.

I have worked in retail and you get customers asking for access to the staff loos all the time. We simply can't allow people through the back for any number of reasons including insurance, the fact they might trip over something and theft. We just can't - however desperate Kelly, Joe Public or a toddler happens to be.

Used to clean our councils public toilets and needed a pressure washer with a drain in the middle of floor. Theyre sold off now . Some people are filthier than the worst animals. Why would you wipe poo on walls ffs.

I didn't know about toilet cards either. How do you get them? I hate going somewhere there might not be a loo - when I need to go I need to go! I know where every loo is in my local town. Shopping trips have to be based around their locality, such a pain.

Public loos are often in a better state because the council/ shopping centre pay for an attendant to man the place.
Loos in cafes are maintained and cleaned by staff. I work next to a Caffè Nero and a Costa and they are both used by the local smackheads to shoot up. The floors are always flooded, there is shit over the toilets, the basin is often full of towels and blocked. The bins are overflowing and sanitary waste on the floor. I'm not exaggerating - I'm sure they start off clean, but the baristas are supposed to keep on top of that as well as doing their job for minimum wage? You couldn't pay me enough to deal with that.

I work in a small shop with a loo and you can bet your life we don't let random members of the public use it. And we get asked A LOT.

The problem is lack of council maintained toilets, not sensible cafe owners not wanting all and sundry leaving what is tantamount to a dirty protest in their loos.
