To think Kelly Osbourne is vile

Just read this story about Kelly Osbourne ranting at Starbucks for not letting her use the toilet and how she ended up with piss in her shoe. Just as disgusting as her mother. And I don't know why she thought so much of herself that she expects to use a toilet for free, most of us mere mortals understand you normally have to make a purchase in store to use the facilities.

Hello. Yes I was being sarcastic Grin
But... everyone knows kelly has a mouth on her. She's a massive attention seeker and revels in it. Maybe starbucks wanted the controversy and publicity.

JuicyCake · 26/06/2017 16:10

Is she trying to position herself in Lena Dunham territory? Must have a new project coming up, as I have heard of her goings-on twice now recently & I don't follow her (or any celeb) social media.
She was crowing about not fitting into a sample size designer piece, with a photo of her ass half-way into a tiny skirt. Kate Moss, you ain't Kelly...

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 26/06/2017 16:15

Gosh this really has irked you hasn't it Lass?
Well as I said I would always remember a place and be more likely to return. What if someone doesn't have their purse on them? Doesn't have change? Is in a rush?

Oh please- all these ridiculous excuses.

As for being irked , the selfish, demanding attitude being displayed is extremely irritating. Although as you are the one now resorting to swearing it is presumably causing you even more ire. Do calm down.

Notknownatthisaddress · 26/06/2017 16:18

I don't like attention seeking diva celebs, but I am with her on this one.

They should have let her use the loo.

MissionItsPossible · 26/06/2017 16:19

Notknownatthisaddress would have taken a long long while for them to build and set up a toilet for her!

OP posts:
Gileswithachainsaw · 26/06/2017 16:20

She shoulda been barred ed for life not allowed to use the toilets.

SaucyJack · 26/06/2017 16:29

Is she back on the drugs? A) they don't have a loo, and B) it's not as if she would personally be placed in financial hardship by purchasing a bottle of juice to take away for later.

It's a shame tho that toilet facilities are not more widely available. It does get expensive for the average person to pay three quid for a coffee every time a kid wants a tinkle.

Brittbugs80 · 26/06/2017 19:50

It's not about disturbing staff breaks, members of the public can't go into the back area of a shop to use a toilet or any other reason, as they won't be covered under the shops public liability insurance should anything happen to them.

If you begged to use the loo in New Look and they let you in the staff toilets and you slipped and broke your wrist, you wouldn't be covered by insurance and could very well be done for trespassing as you are not employed there either.

And I haven't read the story but if Kelly Osbourne purposely pissed herself then she's just a filthy scutter.

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 26/06/2017 20:59

Britbugs I did actually mention liability too...Hmm - it is obviously the only real reason and I should have put it first - that risk is not taken lightly.

But I'm currently signed off from my retail management job with stress. A golden hour without customers really really helps and I'm probably a little blinkered in my view point on it atm. Sorry if I don't seem to have taken it seriously.Confused Blush

Brittbugs80 · 26/06/2017 21:26

Dahathaway god no, I wasn't haven't a dig at your. Sorry if you thought I was. It was a quick skim read and others have said that staff don't want to be disturbed but I was saying that the reason is insurance but having done retail, I absolutely agree with you. An hour without customers is often the best part of retail, especially dealing with the Kelly Osbournes of the world!

BourbonMick · 26/06/2017 21:31

She is fucking awful

user1487175389 · 26/06/2017 21:31

I really don't get the problem here. People need to urinate or defecate or change someone else who has already done so. They find themselves in a public place. They then have two options: do it in public, or use the nearest loo. The first option takes us back to Britain before the invention of the flushing toilet. The second means cleaning staff have slightly more work. Which one of these options is preferable for the good of society as a whole?

And reading this thread, you'd be forgiven for thinking our nation was populated mainly by shit smearing weirdos. It isn't.

Generally when someone has just used a public loo before me, I find they leave it in a reasonable state. As I'm sure most of us do. Have some faith in one another ffs.

Gileswithachainsaw · 26/06/2017 21:34

Having "faith" has resulted in completely unusable toilets and having to keep the one remaining one locked and banning bags where I work.

PussCatTheGoldfish · 26/06/2017 21:40

Yuk! That's disgusting.

We have an out of order sign on our customer toilet after a member of the public smeared shit everywhere and ripped the toilet seat off. Filthy fucker.

We have a small business, there is just 4 of us, and no cleaner just me.

That has happened twice in 3 years. Now our customers get directed to next doors supermarket facilities.

GinSwigmore · 26/06/2017 21:45

Meh. I have no starfucks to give. Her tweet is not that ranty and their response was more than reasonable. Having a fucked pelvic floor I can sympathise overall. Vile is an adjective I keep for ones who truly deserve it. Rank is more appropriate but having pissed myself before I wouldn't even describe her as that to be fair.
Unless she smeared twunts on the wall as a dirty protest.
I like one song she did and thought she did great on DWTS so yeah, I don't have it in me to hate today.

StillDrivingMeBonkers · 26/06/2017 21:47

Is this in the USA ?

As I understand it, all restrooms are available to the public, no purchase necessary - although I'm wiling to be corrected

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 26/06/2017 21:47

She was probably desperate to use the toilet and couldn't hold it in. I'm not going to pretend Ive never got caught short. It bloody horrible
Would we be saying dirty cow to someone with a bladder problem.
I hope not

Gileswithachainsaw · 26/06/2017 21:48

She had time to argue she had time to find somewhere else

GinSwigmore · 26/06/2017 21:49

Also where does it say she wet herself on purpose. Or left a puddle?
You can end up with piss in your shoe without leaving a huge puddle (my son did this last week. He's 4).
She was at Pride festival all day so wouldn't have been soaked through unless she had to change or just let herself dry out (Lack Of Pride).

SwedishToast · 26/06/2017 21:53

I'm not keen on her in general but I don't see how getting caught short makes her vile. The Starbucks fucked up as they got bad publicity. She could be pregnant for all they know.

QueenLaBeefah · 26/06/2017 21:53

Absolutely love the naivety there user1487175389! The Great British public can be horrifically disgusting at times and any sane business owner wouldn't let randomers use their loos as they do become shit smeared, vandalised, drug paraphernalia laden mess more often than not.

I'm all for public toilets and that is why the councils shouldn't have shut the vast majority of them. With a proper loo attendent and not some poor overworked barista.

shouldnthavesaid · 26/06/2017 21:56

Do the toilet cards actually work? I have to use catheters quite often and never sure what to do in public so just avoid going out while using one .. When not using GP said to go to toilet strictly every 2 hours (alarm set on my phone and all sorts) so have to plan days around where a cleanish public toilet is (surprisingly , very few apart from shopping centres and MacDonalds). Have been refused in Tesco before because I didn't look disabled or elderly.. a card if they work would be an enormous help.

That all said I wouldn't voluntarily piss my knickers to make a point , I did on Saturday (catheter bypassed/flooded) and it's horribly uncomfortable . No toilets at all , had to walk home wet and worried people would notice. Very embarrassing , I sat in the bath and cried my eyes out Blush!

AtSea1979 · 26/06/2017 21:58

I believe there wasn't a toilet and she wanted to use the staff one. Obviously they said no so that was that. But if she was so desperate she peed herself then no wonder she was arguing and begging. Hardly takes as long as going back outside and looking for another one.

Gileswithachainsaw · 26/06/2017 22:09

But u can't expect staff to leave the counter with customers waiting and leave the til unattended to traipse some princess upstairs to staff room just because she think she's too good to use the shopping centre ones like everyone else.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 26/06/2017 22:11

Exactly.

And if I'm in a restaurant or a café I don't want it turned into a public toilet.

She is horrible, attention seeking spoilt brat.
