To fuck OFF.

Many examples recently of people appointing themselves thread curator and being rude, annoying and pointy finger ish to other posters who disagree with them.

It annoys me more than it should.

It's not, actually Navy. That thread is ONE example of several I've seen recently.

It's not about you. Smile

Maisy but I'm not policing anyone, I'm just wishing they would fuck off Grin

Yeah, I know Sparkling - but I did also say I realise it annoys me more than it should....

I'm sure you've reported it if you're unhappy Navy. I've engaged with you on the thread you're talking about - why would I start another one specifically about it?

As I said, it's a comment on several thread.

*YANBU. See also those who post replies about "first world problems" and how the thread isn't worthy of existence in their hallowed opinion. Feck off and don't read it then.

The phase people seemed to be going through of popping up on a thread with a "well its not as bad as what's happening in Syria so therefore not important" was ridiculous.

Highalert · 24/06/2017 17:05

Has summat gone on that I've missed?

Floggingmolly · 24/06/2017 17:06

Why do you think this is about you, Navy? . Do you know how many posters there are on MN?

Highalert · 24/06/2017 17:06

I"d AS the OP if I could be bothered.

RaspberryBeretHoopla · 24/06/2017 17:06

Apparently there is a drunk husband aboot.

And some sheep dogs without sheep.

Otherwise I've no idea.

HoneyDragon · 24/06/2017 17:07

PARD. You had your chances. So fuck all of you

WellErrr · 24/06/2017 17:07

How ironic.

There was one the other day who kept popping on to admonish every new poster who commented, on the grounds that a conclusion had already been reached so no more posting was necessary. Completely missing the irony...
And no, Navy, that wasn't about you either.

TheSeaTheSkyTheSeaTheSkyyyyyy · 24/06/2017 17:09

Can you link to an example? I don't actually know what you mean.

RaspberryBeretHoopla · 24/06/2017 17:09

Oh dear navy

Was it in relation to your drunk husband?

SmileEachDay · 24/06/2017 17:09

There was thread policing going on on both sides of that argument Navy. It was irritating.

But this is not about that thread specifically. Or about you.

OP posts:
RaspberryBeretHoopla · 24/06/2017 17:10

That was a joke. But perhaps only to me.

Ah, Navy, that wasn't nice. You're the classiest person I know Grin

SmileEachDay · 24/06/2017 17:10

That was one of the examples Flogging

I love someone who tries to stop a thread from repeating on itself.

All threads repeat on themselves.

You do realise, SmileEachDay, that posters will feel DUTY BOUND to advance search your recent posting history for any bunfights frank and open exchanges you've been involved in?

It would be almost rude not to.

HoneyDragon · 24/06/2017 17:11

Upmarket?
