Lovely, so Huckabee-Sanders has just spent half of her briefing actually defending the vile Morning Joe tweets yet again.

She seemed to be implying that this was what the American people wanted, insisting that they had voted for 'a fighter' and, once again, claiming that his election win had been massive.

Pressed on whether she'd tell her kids she thought this was acceptable behaviour, she evaded and said only god was the perfect role model. Now, I might be an atheist, but I'm reasonably certain there was some turning the other cheek stuff in that god role-modelling story somewhere ...

She also said the President was 'smart', a claim which obviously undermined the value of every other utterance.
