Polls for the GA 6 opened about 30 mins ago. As a rule no counts or exit polls are broadcast until polls close at 7pm EDT tonight.

A recent GOP based poll showed Handel (R) ahead by a scant 2 percentage points. That's unbelievably close for this district.

I don't know the exact numbers, but it was a pretty big margin cozie.

lion I think if ossoff wins, it won't 'scare' them, but it'll be a big wakeup call. The problem is that it won't be a 'good one'. It won't make the GOP look at it's policies and moderate them, or make them more open to the true will of the people. No, it will just make them 'play dirtier' in future elections. If Ossoff wins, I predict the ugliest, most vicious campaign season in American history for the 2018 midterms.

I suspect it's going to be ugly even if he doesn't win.

Apparently the Finnish investigator people have heard talk of a possible terrorist attack to take place in Helsinki :( They're putting up concrete bollards in key spots to prevent van attacks so at least they're doing something but its worrying.

I really should learn to read all the news before posting - they seem to be indicating that they have the situation under control now although no outright statement about suspects caught but they conducted raids. But still, it does signify a bit of a change here, our terror level is pretty low, people expect to be safe from it all over here but that's changing now.

It's horrible to have sense of security eroded Natsku.
