So Senate appears to be following House GOP lead to have zero hearings or public committee input into healthcare bill then spring a vote.
It's cynical and politically and substantively destructive in long run but only way they can hope to pass something unpopular.
If they vote on it this month it will be done without GOP even pretending to subject it to any public scrutiny. That's on purpose.
The only hope Democrats have of not getting steam rolled is constituent/interest group pressure now. Also GA 06 can make a difference.
R's have WH and both houses of gov. Odds continue to favor them repealing the ACA.
