Just today the Justice Department said that Trump can receive money from foreign governments because George Washington once sold wheat.

So he's violating the Constitution but nobody cares? This will open the door even more to him. Lweji The Maryland and DC Attorneys General are state officials so Trump technically has no authority over them. But this is another lawsuit similar to the one just dismissed so I expect the DOJ will do the same.

The DOJ dismissing the previous lawsuit is an example of what I mentioned awhile ago; that the US Govt decides whether or not to allow a lawsuit against itself to proceed. The plaintiffs have the right to appeal and I hope they do.

Poor Melania & Barron (especially Barron). Summer break is supposed to be a fun time. Instead they're going to be cooped up with Scrotus. Can you just imagine what it will be like? Eurgh!

So, would private lawsuits have a better chance?
