Pahahaha!

He is of course, welcome to come here to do government business. But cheering crowds and golden coaches? He'll have to stick at home where he can hire those to order.

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 14:24

I think it's far more interesting that he called May post-election. (I presume.) I wonder what he said about the result? Smile

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 14:25

I await a tweet. Grin

I may have missed this being posted, but ...

State visit apparently being put on hold because diddums doesn't want big protests

StatisticallyChallenged · 11/06/2017 14:37

Sorry Northwest, I was looking for recent links so missed your post

THe guardian says this cozie

The call was made in recent weeks, according to a Downing Street adviser who was in the room. The statement surprised May, according to those present.

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 15:13

Ah. I missed that. I still await a tweet. Grin

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 15:18

It doesn't constitute - at this stage - a withdrawal from the visit, though. More like a quick moan about:

'I don't want to visit if everyone doesn't show me love people would rather I didn't'.

To which May would doubtless respond.............................

Cancellation of President Trump's State Visit is welcome, especially after his attack on London's mayor & withdrawal from #ParisClimateDeal.

FantasticButtocks · 11/06/2017 16:21

Donald Trump has told Theresa May in a phone call he does not want to go ahead with a state visit to Britain until the British public supports him coming.

He's going to have a long wait then! Grin

AcrossthePond55 · 11/06/2017 16:48

I just wish that the threat of big protests would make him not want to be out in public here either. Sad

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 17:17

It rather does though, Across. He only goes out to special 'love-ins' after all.

Please tell me that's real!

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 11/06/2017 19:21

Love the shadowy spectre of Putin in the background of that Time cover. 😀

AcrossthePond55 · 11/06/2017 19:27

OMG! Is that Time cover for REAL???

Ha! You're right cozie. Special love-ins for a 'special boy'.

I've known some really egotistical men in my time, but I don't think I've ever run across one with such a YUGE yet fragile ego.

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 19:30

I think it may not be real, Across. If not, it's been done well, though. (I think that the latest one refers to the 'Swamp Hotel'.

BiglyBadgers · 11/06/2017 19:34

This is the latest one on their website. I can't find any reliable reference to that one.
