Really comfy ones. You know the kind, big, soft and stretchy, unflattering as hell. DP thinks they're hilarious. I quote 'you're wearing acres of knicker'.
AIBU to think men don't realise how lucky they are that ALL men's pants are comfy, save the odd novelty thong?! Don't get me wrong, I like a French knicker and I'm partial to the odd tiny pair of lace pants, but nothing beats the comfort of really big, stretchy pants.

Disclaimer: This is lighthearted. Really.

Men just don't understand comfy knickers, make him wear a thong for the evening, see how he likes it!

Birdsbeesandtrees · 05/06/2017 22:51

I think you've just not found a comfy thong yet. Wink

I never wear knickers. I don't like them. I have lots and lots of cotton thongs that are very comfy.

Louiselouie0890 · 05/06/2017 22:52

Tell him to wear a thong for the day and come back to ya

shitgibbon · 05/06/2017 22:53

That's the only type of knicker I own. Comfort always!

MargotLovedTom1 · 05/06/2017 22:55

I bought some big pants when it was still chilly outside and saw why they earned the nickname 'bellywarmers' - I was toasty and very, very comfy. My thong days are long gone; last time I wore one the between-the-cheeks bit drove me mad with irritation.

robinia · 05/06/2017 22:55

Show us a comfy thong birdsbeesetc ...

Iamastonished · 05/06/2017 22:58

I don't think any thongs are comfortable, and why would I want to wear a thong? I'm 58 and no longer have a pert derriere.

KentMum2008 · 05/06/2017 22:58

I'd love to wear a comfy thong, but I've tried a dozen different kinds and they all irritate the life out of me. I'm pretty hippy (as in have big hips, not as in flowers in my hair and bell bottoms) and have a pretty big bum. I just find it comfier when it's all encased in acres of knicker Grin

I'm in the comfy thong camp. Proper pants have me constantly rearranging. And you can see them through everything, even when they fit properly.

HerOtherHalf · 05/06/2017 22:59

I've never understood the ridiculously uncomfortable undergarments some women wear. Same as I've never understood women wearing shoes that look good but are impossible to walk in and can leave permanent scars. Enjoy your comfy pants, you know they make sense.

BandeauSally · 05/06/2017 23:00

Oh I love a big knicker. My favourite pair have been relegated to period pants because they're the only thing that is good about periods. Very comforting when I feel like shite. I know I get to wear the big comfies. How sad am i? Grin

Scottishchick39 · 05/06/2017 23:02

I wouldn't like to wear boxer shorts either though, it must be a pita having to push them down the legs of your trousers every time you go to the loo.

Birdsbeesandtrees · 05/06/2017 23:02

like this

Iamastonished · 05/06/2017 23:02

"And you can see them through everything, even when they fit properly."

It depends on what you wear. I also don't cringe at the sight of VPLs. I agree about shoes Her.

Jakeyboy1 · 05/06/2017 23:03

I made the mistake of buying a thong for first time in years a few wks ago. Sexy black lace with nude satin behind it. Bought it, threw it in the wash and put it on a few days later for some "Sexy time". Imagine my horror when I look down to see what look like enormous pubes sprouting from it... the cheapy black elastic had all ruined in one wash and sprung loose! It was horrendous as was my fat ass. Swiftly placed in the bin and replaced with big pants. Must spend more than £2 next time.

Iamastonished · 05/06/2017 23:03

I'm sorry, but those look hideously uncomfortable Birds

Birdsbeesandtrees · 05/06/2017 23:04

Fair enough. I find them very comfy - that's the main thing becaue they're not cheap. Grin

KentMum2008 · 05/06/2017 23:04

DP wears the stretchy, very comfy boxers as opposed to the loose cotton ones. I think that's a comfort thing so he does get it, he just pretends he doesn't.

I always wear big, stretchy, black boy shorts. I love them, and feel much sexier in them than little lacy things. Plus I'm pretty sure I have sensory issues and all other pants feel uncomfortable and itchy to me

KentMum2008 · 05/06/2017 23:06

Birdsbees they sell thongs like that in primark you know. They're a quid.

Re the thong I have one DD who feels the same. I just can't be doing with something in my arse! I think it's the same as whether you find flip flops or anything between your toes comfy. That doesn't bother me, but not between the cheeks!

iffikitty · 05/06/2017 23:07

I have large drawers full of large drawer. Knickers should go under your bum cheeks and up to your waist, or where your waist once was.

Anything else is going against nature.

RedLemonade · 05/06/2017 23:08

I love big comfy knicks too.

And I can't go to sleep without them if I'm wearing a nighty. Even if I have a thong or skimpy knickers on It just feels all wrong and I have to get out of beg and reach for the Bridget Joneses. Like lovely comfy slippers for the bumGrin

RosaRosaRose · 05/06/2017 23:08

Two daughters in their 20's and me in my 60's. All gorgeous, all love the big pants.

Birdsbeesandtrees · 05/06/2017 23:08

Well. I do like these ones but at that price i may have to take a trip to primark !
