OP posts:
catgirl1976 · 29/05/2017 20:52

Jeremy has been excellent so far I think.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 29/05/2017 20:52

More of Teresa May gurning?

Not sure I can cope.

SmileEachDay · 29/05/2017 20:53

I think Corbyn came across well in that first section

Awks · 29/05/2017 20:53

He's very eloquent and believable. Though 30 odd years as an MP should help.

MissionItsPossible · 29/05/2017 20:54

Jeremy has impressed me beyond any expectations I had. Very compassionate and articulate, the most lively I've seen him which is a shame so late into the game.

specialsubject · 29/05/2017 20:58

Like the format - not politicians yelling at each other, but politician answering questions.

Not sure about this next bit , let's see....

catgirl1976 · 29/05/2017 20:59

I think Paxo is being a bit off. This isn't JC's personal manifesto it's the Labour Party's

thesourceofLoveandLight · 29/05/2017 21:00

catgirl - me too. be interested to see if he is like this with May.

SmileEachDay · 29/05/2017 21:01

Yeah - I think Paxman is just seeing if he gets flustered.

WhereYouLeftIt · 29/05/2017 21:02

Well what's the point of asking a question and then talking over the answer.

catgirl1976 · 29/05/2017 21:02

We should have a drinking game - every time TM says "strong and stable" we have a shot. :) Could be lethal

PurpleDaisies · 29/05/2017 21:03

Why is he asking about the monarchy? It's not in their manifesto.

MissionItsPossible · 29/05/2017 21:04

To be fair this just seems like normal Paxman to me. If he is softer on TM I will be disappointed.

SmileEachDay · 29/05/2017 21:04

You hear it a lot with Paxman...he's so used to politicians not answering the question maybe...

MissBax · 29/05/2017 21:04

I don't understand how anyone can watch Corbyn and not agree with and support him 😞

SmileEachDay · 29/05/2017 21:05

Ooh good idea Cat

catgirl1976 · 29/05/2017 21:05

Exactly - it's like pressing him because he believes in the Loch Ness Monster in his personal life.

He may well do - but it's got feck all to do with the manifesto (unless they had added a bit about bringing back Nessie hunting which I may have missed_)

I do wish he'd get rid of Abbot though. I think she's a liability.

catgirl1976 · 29/05/2017 21:08

Yes she's dreadful. Needs to go.

WhingyNinja · 29/05/2017 21:08

I agree MissBax. I am very much a Corbyn fan.

flamingnoravera · 29/05/2017 21:09

Watching now and I think he's doing well. Pushing him on his personal views is pretty low. He knows he could not abolish the monarchy, and tbh as an ardent anti-monarchist myself, I can see benefits to it given the debacle of a president in the USA.

marmite157 · 29/05/2017 21:10

Paxo is dreadful, ask a question and let him answer!

If JC is waffling close him down ..... but he's not even getting the chance!!

Crunchymum · 29/05/2017 21:11

No point me watching, I posted my vote on Friday Grin

flamingnoravera · 29/05/2017 21:11

And unfortunately I agree that Diane Abbot is not the best ambassador for the party.
