I think Corbyn came across well in that first section

He's very eloquent and believable. Though 30 odd years as an MP should help.

Jeremy has impressed me beyond any expectations I had. Very compassionate and articulate, the most lively I've seen him which is a shame so late into the game.

Like the format - not politicians yelling at each other, but politician answering questions.

Why is he asking about the monarchy? It's not in their manifesto.

To be fair this just seems like normal Paxman to me. If he is softer on TM I will be disappointed.

You hear it a lot with Paxman...he's so used to politicians not answering the question maybe...

I agree MissBax. I am very much a Corbyn fan.

Watching now and I think he's doing well. Pushing him on his personal views is pretty low. He knows he could not abolish the monarchy, and tbh as an ardent anti-monarchist myself, I can see benefits to it given the debacle of a president in the USA.

Paxo is dreadful, ask a question and let him answer!
